Last year at the hunting camp I watched people throwing 100's down like it was nothing all. One of them ended up taking home a couple grand. But like I said we were in high school and didn't have that kind of money, it was for fun more than anyting.

I think I read that wrong, are you talking about to your amp or for the Big 3? If for your amp look for the amount of amps your amp pulls. For your alternator, well how many amps your alt produces.

I'd try to talk him down to about 1200, and IMO restoring an old truck can be extremely fun. I'm currently restoring an 89 chevy 1500 sport thats been sitting up for about 6 years now with a 350. Just got it running a few months ago. I'll be dropping a 454 in it when I get the funds. I know it's not that old so the body work isn't as bad, but it's definately a lot of fun. It's my first project so I didn't wanna jump right into an old truck like that with that much work needed so that's another factor to think about if you're a newbie.

I'm also interested in finding an answer for this. My ranger domelight decides it doesn't wanna go off when I shut the doors most of the time, but does some times. Not sure on how that works
