I cant speak about the level 4 or the xl, but i know with the level 5 Bill(aka Kingsuv) was running ~2.5 cubes per 18 behind, and 12 cubes in front in one of his boxes. He said the rear sealed camber was tuned to around 30 hz, and i have no idea on the front chamber. That box sounded amazing. But he was also running 5K rms to each 18 in that box though. It might be the same figures for the xl, but i have no idea.

Bummer on the bench seat, I know the feeling. According to my calculations it looks like 1 6" at 33 hz is about 27" long, and the 2 4" at 33hz is about 25" each. Also what size engine do you have, the 6 or 8?

Dont know much about that year regular cab. Do you have a bench seat, buckets, split bench? I saw a Level 4 12 the other day and that thing was a beast. I know i couldn't put that in my truck with out my seat being up on the steering wheel. Also 2.2ft^3 at 33 hz sounds like it will work as long as you can get enough port area. You might have to do an external port (so you can keep the box a resonable size).

I to have the same problem as you (truck in sig). It sounds like you have a good amount of space behind your seat(or you like to be on the steering wheel). But if this was my truck i would do the 2 12's with the subs on passenger side, and port on driver side. You can either use a slot port, or you can use a Areo(round) port. Let me do some numbers and ill let you know what I can come up with. Edit: Do you have a tuning frequency that you would like it at? What kind of music do you mainly listen to?

Wat year expedition do you have. I have a 98 and can measure out the amount of wire i would use if this was my setup. Let me know.

Its been on and off raining and lightning down south here all day. Had lighting strike a pole that was about 90 feet away from me today. Heard the hiss of the lighting as it hit the pole. I decided to go inside once that happened, lol.

I myself am running a pionner shallow right now. I like the way it sounds, and get loud for a shallow mount. I have it in a 1 cube box tuned to 30 hz. shakes my truck up. The only thing is, is that it has a Fs of 55. It should be used as a mid bass, but it doesn't do bad on low notes. Here is a video of it in my old box. That 12.3v is ur battery resting voltage. Check ur voltage again with the car on. And that battery is just auto zones distinction between there batterys. Its there gold line which has a 3 year free replacement warrenty.
