  1. Nicely done diagram dereileak
  2. What amp is it, and also if you can get some gut pics, and see if anything looks burnt
  3. There was a pretty large thread on CACO about this company, but cant link to that given the site has been down for like a week
  4. I believe what you want is a Sound Good system, a true SQ system takes tons and tons of work, to get every little thing just right. But you can have a really great sound good system, I have on of those, I have a saying "You know you your system sounds awesome when you can drive around all day listening to nothing but Enya"
  5. I beat you by a few months http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/92028-26000-bottles-of-vital-energy-prank/page__p__1264194__fromsearch__1entry1264194
  6. In a sealed application yes, in a ported application no.....the AQ HDC3 10's are little beasts, I have one sitting write next to be, thats going in my car soon, before this I had a DC XL15 and I would say this is about the same weight as it, but I just needed a sub that takes up less trunk space, and have always wanted to try AQ, so thats why I picked up this sub.
  7. Personally I would go with Trae over Zoe and Z-ro over Trae and finally K-Rino over Z-ro..... But thats why the world has many opinions, just like me and TeamHT will never agree to musical tastes LAWLZ...
  8. He was on a song with Lil Wayne that got played constantly for like 4 months, how is that not getting publicity?? He also has quite a few video's on MTV I just listened to the song Echo, Im sorry but using Auto-Tune is not unique at all..... Though I will agree that some of the lyrics are better than alot of the other Mainstream artists, but Autotune kills it for me enjoying any artists song This is the actual black eminem(old school em that is)
  9. That would probably be one of the better options if you need to go sealed, also it might be a good idea if you go with the LVL3's to get the coil upgrade, just to make sure they handle the power
  10. I would do 2 HDC3's on both the AQ2200's if you have the room, but only if your able to go ported....also since your gonna be a bit tight on space, go with the Copper Coil HDC3's since you box is probably gonna be closer to a cube a piece per sub ported, so about 2 cubes after displacements(give or take a bit) and since your feeding the AQ's double power the smaller box will help with control.
  11. So then how do you know your boss didnt set your amp settings wrong, to try and prove the amp wrong and say TOLD YOU SO? Subsonic filter is a filter that eliminates the low notes comming out of the amp. If you turn this all the way to clockwise, there will be no bass below 60hz. For testing purposes do these things. Turn all your dials counterclock wise (to the left) on the amplifier. For your GAIN, turn it clockwise, about 1/4th the way up. For your SUBSONIC turn it clockwise, about 1/3 the way up. For your LPF turn it clocwise, about 1/2 the way up. For your BASSBOOST, leave it turned all the way down at 0 which is counter clockwise. Bassboost is not needed. For your PHASE, leave it turned all the way down at 0, again this is also not needed unless you are using multiple woofers with multiple woofer amps. With these settings your amp should make some serious banging with a 5volt output on your eclipse headunit. By no means are these the perfect settings, but they should be close to what you need with a few minor tweeks here and there! I wouldn't doubt that he would do that cuz he was all pissy when I got the amp cuz it wasn't sumthin he liked. I'll set all the settings like you suggested and go from there. Thanks! What equipment do yall carry at the shop you work at??? Sadly I wouldnt doubt what others say about Bossman setting the amp like that, especially if he would of wanted you to buy an emp from the shop
  12. What kind of car do you have??? I had to take off my taillights to get my box to fit
  13. What everyone else said...... I like how CACO is organized, with everything seperated between sub size, amp channels, etc....
  14. Im pretty sure Hertz doesnt have any "Certified" online dealers, by that I mean you are getting a warranty from the Manufacture...
  15. Like the title says, it doesnt matter how many channels as long as its 2 or more, would like 75-100rms a channel......just thought I would see what yall have before I get one on Amazon
  16. Someone has to say it, but what are the chances of a second "Trippi" happening, cause he is one of the very and I mean very few people that came in as a new member claiming a build of this caliber and actually following through with it..... To the OP do you realize how expensive a build such as this will cost???
  17. This..............I have a set of Walmart Schoche RCA's that I have had for 7 years, it has been in my vehicles it has been in friends vehicles and it still works great
  18. Definitely the Brutas, the HFI line is Max rating so the model you are talking about will do like 1200rms if your lucky.........Just make sure you can keep the volts up since Hifonics amps lose 18% output for each volt under 14.xx volts dropped
  19. Honestly I would just run one amp to the sub, but if you really wanted to do what you are saying the easiest way would be to use a MaxxLink, and then gain match the amps
  20. I came into this thread thinking the guy was talking about Xstatic Batcap's, but he just means Capacitors.......
  21. I use terminals like that, but I dont solder, I use a Hydraulic Crimper on em
  22. I would just run one on each channel, each will get about its RMS, I wouldnt try to run it at 2 ohms briged
  23. Are the MTX's single 4 ohm or dual 4 ohm? Also never worry about Max rating, always go by RMS ratings
