You could probably get bass to kill you if you where to strap a lead block to a 18" BTL, and let it pound you in the face, as far as SPL killing you, no one has that capability in the car audio world........yet.

It very well could have grounded through the RCA's, happened to be a while back I pulled the ground with the positive still hooked up and fried my RCA had to get a new set for it to work again, always disconnect power before working on any connections on your amp.

Or how about someone does something like this with an artillery shell instead of an airbag and skateboard LOL

Are you sure about that I am sure MechMan or Rob can get you an alt that does about 250-300amps, that would fit.

I also have 2 12" CVX's, but off of a ZX.1500, also like others a vid in the daytime would be nice when you get around to it, its sounds like you are slamming with those subs, very nice. Edit: Also fixed

I dont think it would sound very good, they have different motors, so they might cancel eachother out a bit.

Do you mean like different year models, if so I wouldnt recomend it, they are different motors.

How is that even a comparison on which will be louder, there is no doubt that the wall with 16 subs will be louder than 4 12's.
