IMO I don't think that just beacuse something is CEA compliant means it works any better. Sony is CEA compliant but I installed an Xplod 400 watt amp in this Chrysler 300M and his old Hifonics Cyclops worked better.

Personally I like ported enclosures better so I would go with the 12", but I would imagine the 15" would get louder

I never thought I would run 15's again, but thanks to Sundown that will be my new weapon of choice.

I had (3) of the 12's in the back of 1985 Buick LeSabre, and they sounded good, my brother runs (4) of the 12's now and his Cutlass sounds damn good

Yes we have heard that, but it's like the proverbial "dangling of the carrot" in front of the horse. I've waited 4 years to get my degree in Respiratory Care, now I have to wait until April to get this amp. I can wait but I ain't gonna like the wait. Well I'm 33 and just this past Sunday night I was a passenger in a vehicle (with my seatbelt on) we were stopped for a dangling tag light (which is not illegal) he pulled the driver out of the car, I was grabbed and held at "taser" point for absolutely no reason. I was told I was resisting arrest (which I wasn't cited for) I find it hard for me to explain to my children how "helpful" law enforcment is when I haven't experienced it. I honestly figured as I got older as long as I was cooperative I wouldn't have these kind of problems but hey who am I.

About 1 min 30 seconds into the Woofer flex video it slowed down, that's was like "The Matrix" that was tight

I think given the right situation any sub offered would be satisfactory to someone. On SMD there are a lot of factors that come into play. How many watts can it handle, What's the xmax, does the sub like a sealed or ported enclosure, is it an SQ sub or more of an SPL thing, (what freebies do we get!) but one thing that I do like is that I have seen a lot of comments regarding customer service. That is a really big issue because no one wants to invest time and money on a sub just to have it blow, become damaged, etc. and have to deal with a crappy company that wants everything short of a DNA sample to receive satisfactory service. I am choosing to run Sundown equipment not only off of the reputation of the subs, but the reputation of the company and what kind of service they provide their customers and not just the customer who is competing for them, or the one who is mortgaging their future to have a setup but also the poor college student who has a family to support but also wants to have some fun when it comes to his favorite pasttime. (That would be me) Don't just be sold on a name truly research as many aspects as possible and if you are truly satisfied, it won't matter to you whether we like the company or not. (sorry for the long message)
