Yeah i know that, I am running 8 gauge wire to the amp. But tommorrow i am going to chagne it to 2 gauge wire. So therfore my problem is sovel i hope.

well the subs just cut out through the songs, When u turn the volume down for a while the amp kicks back in and im off thumping them again.

hahai have got a 1000w monoblock and i have got 2 12" JVC subs 350rms each. I clipp my amp every 5min's and i have had the amp for nearlly 2 years. Plus im running the amp at 1ohm and it is only stable at 2ohm . I know i will get hate from every body on this site. But i carn't see the problem in clipping a amp if i am underpowering my subs and running them at a unstable ohm and they sound great and get loud. Last time i metered them i got a 138.8db. But please people don't flame me, As i don't give a F$%k if the sub and amp goes, If they do that means i can go with my 2 DD 3515"s and stetsom amp.

But we need some DC subs over here in AUZ.

Wouldn't that soundstream 2000rms amp power the sub niecly, It does 1500rms @ 2ohm and i can buy another one when i get the SPLX subs i want.

Well since most of the brands you guys have listed we carn't get over here in Auz without a hefty shipping fee. So i came across this amp. http://www.ryda.com.au/Soundstream-TRX2000...-p/trx2000d.htm Im not to sure if it will go down to .5ohm but it is 1500rms @ 2ohm, It's abit under with the power i want. But i am hoping to get 145db in a Holden Commodore sedan . Aswell, When i get sick of the Cadence sub i will be getting 2 15" soundstream SPLX subs and i can still use it for 1 ohm @ 2000rms , So that is perfect considiring the SPLX subs can handle 1000wrms each. So i am also thinking ahead for what i would like to run next

Well i will be getting a DVC 1 ohm sub that is 1500rms and 5000rms for a burst. So what i would like to know is there a amp out there that would do between 2000rms and 3000rms @ .5ohm . As i have never had to run a amp this low. I don't really have a budget but i don't want some state of the art amp. Or i could run the sub at 2 ohm but then i would need to fork out more money to find a amp that does between 2000rms and 3000rms @2ohm . But any help pionting me in the right direction would be very helpful.

I would go with the kenwood as this is amp is stable at 1ohm but it's says on the box only 2ohm stable but i run this amp of 2 12" JVC subs which are 350rms each DVC 4ohm and the amp never over heats of clips. It may be more money but it's worth the money i say.

LOL, this is not the place to put this. But you will loose money in years to come. As all the car makers will go down in value. LOL you invested in ford as they are in millions of dollars in debt.

well if your going that many subs, You could hit 160deebeeze. But heaps of other stuff comes into play.

I would go with the Bronco as you can get a pretty big sound system in the rear of that beast.

Today for fun i picked up this cerwin Vega 104 10" SVC 4ohm 300rms Sub. I would just like to know if this is a good sub to keep or just have my fun with a big amp with it. What do you guys think of the sub?

i will do a little of both street and circut racing.

I got around 125hp maybe a bit more cause i just changed the leads and plugs. Also a little ecu tune aswell. So i might have 130hp now or abit less

I have a 1990 toyota camry 4cyl 5spd man that i am looking at taking to race meets. I just want to know what safety i need to have done to the car before i race. I have already got 2 race seats with the standard seat belts. The engine mods i have so far are a driFt pod filter,New plugs,leads and dizzy club,re-maped ECU and new brake pads. I am getting in the near future a set of extractors,cold air intake and a set of better tyres. I live in Australia so rules may be different overseas.

Don't go CDMA as they are going to scrap them soon. Get the new 3G i know this cause family member neary built the whole 3G network here in Aus. So get the new type out not old stuff.

JVC make good headunits and subs. Just go with what you like and have a look at the features and see if they meet your requirements.

Are they rare to find, Do they cost alot to fit and buy. Could you fit it yuor self?

See what the cars payload is and if it is under that then take it back from where you bought it from. It sound new 2007. And they will replace them for free and will give you your old ones back to sell.

Took the car for a spin 2 day and The damm thing has a REV limiter. :censored: O well i least i wont blow up the engine. When i get a tacho im gonna set the redline on that to 5000rpm instead of 6000rpm. But im just gonna get a cold air intake,headers and polyuratheane bushes for the steering and suspension. This will hopefully not take a huge chunk out of my Next system money!!

I am looking at tidying up my car now the water restirction have been downgraded here in QLD. I would like to know what the best car cleaning products are to use. i would do a clean,wax and a interior tidy up. I dont know which stuff to use as there are millions to choose from. The car is a 18 year old White and its not gloss . The interior is a blue rubber material .
