Cutting and manipulating plexi.

Yeah thats what I did but there has to be a better way to DIY. What blade types are best for plexi? -
So I made a base to mount my amp on out of plexiglass yesterday so I cut the basic shape with a table saw then used my jig saw to cut out the center section. With the jig saw all it did was melt the crap and it was a pain to get hte center section out and I cracked it. Luckily I was able to glue the crack and it didn't break off. Ill get a pic of the actual plexi tomorrow but here is what I can get from work. So what do you guys use to get a nice smooth cuts on plexi? I would have used my router but I dont have any template guide bushings and I'm not a free hander.

Thats just awesome Steve!! I can't wait to see the show because, for one: your da man, and two: I like to see shit break. lol I still say you should have your own TV show. Maybe a show like overhaulin was or even a how to show like Spikes saturday morning line up. Car audio done right not the crap they have tried before like ruin my ride....

Great info and help! I appreciate it!

Oh good I hope it speeds it up a little. Scrolling through the USB is painful. lol

Thanks man i appreciate all the help today! From what i read and tried, the firmware update i think it was used a disk and the gps update used the sd card. I had to update the firmware first so the gps would update but I could never get it to work. So after thinking about this again, i was doing some reading on the Kenwood forums and there is some kind of issue with Vista when burning the software to disk. So Im gonna try it in Win7 and hope that works.

Ok cool thats what I needed to know. Thanks!! and the alts stay daisy chained together right? Oh and he has the big 3 done already Edit: How do you like that head unit? I have the DNX9140 and it is painfully slow. I tried to get it to update and I cant make it for some reason.

Ok a been searching and couldn't find what i was looking for..... So tomorrow Im going to help my buddy run some wire and I'm not to familiar with multi alt set ups. He has four alts in his Yukon and right now he only has one run of 1/0 running to his battery bank in the cab (two batts). His starter battery is not seperate from the rest of the system. Is it better to run a line off of each alternator to the rear batteries or run multiple lines off the front battery to the rear? So all four alts daisy chained to the front battery and say four runs going back to the rear batteries? All four are HO alts. He also just got a MLA module we will be installing as well. What about grounds? Not sure what his current ground situation is.....

your welcome. Thanks for making an affordable bad ass sub!! -
So I got some video today just didn't have enough time to edit it before I had to come to work. Also my 1/0 came in so I can finally do the big three and run wire. When I was playing it, it started to smell a little burnt. Im sure it's my power situation but that will be taken care of and my buddy has a DD1 so hopefully I didn't ruin anything.
