Id think that it would be a group 34/78 if the battery is fairly oldyou may benefit from getting a new one personaly Id recomend getting a XS Power D3400 that or if you dont want to spend that much go to NAPA and pick up one of the Orbitals its pretty much an Optima red top knockoff

hell even simple things like changing over to full synthetic oil having the proper air pressure in the tires and a tonneau cover can do quite a bit. Im personaly working on my truck so that I can use it to pull my car around when ever I get it done Ive been doing simple maintenance things like plugs, wires, cap and rotor, replaced all the hoses, and just recently had the intake gasket replaced. most of that stuff probably didnt gain me anything but it seems like the gasket did gain me some power probably because the truck isnt trying to burn coolent and a bit of oil anymore

maybe you should worry more about making the motor run more efficient than worry about gearing

ok so if I decide to do a leveling kit which one would be my best bet for an 02 silverado 2wd and yes I know that I need to get some helper bags for the rear accualy its on my list of things to do to the truck along with a new bumper and new paint job and probably a few small engine mods probably along the lines of a full intake and exhaust and possably a programer
