  1. Don't ask me what it is genre-wise, I like what I like. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DgBgnoEY4iM Yes, I was into Daft Punk waaay before Kanye made "Stronger". Just had an on again off again relationship with them (like I do most music). Most recently though, I've come across this: Still can't tell you what I think about the CD as a whole since I haven't finished listening to it, but from what I have heard (about 5/8s of the CD) I'm liking it. EDIT: Why can't I embed stuff? ARGH!
  2. I like Lady Sovereign, I just couldn't find the daggone CD in anyone's store.
  3. I always got some brillo pads. They require some elbow grease, but they work well. I guess for heavily stained/poorly taken care of white walls, that would be the best choice. EDIT: Not to downplay your method.
  4. Read: The Truth on HID Kits That grazes over legality, but doesn't delve very deep into it. But it does talk about why people will flash you post installation.
  5. It wouldn't be as bad if he had something I like to call rhythm. I still can't stop laughing. He's just an all around bad rapper. He seriously messed this song up. EDIT: Why can't I embed the video?

    Tuning

Everything I've seen says if you plan on using the bass boost, tune it with it all the way up so that you don't drive it into clipping when it is up. That's when you're doing it with a DMM. I don't have any actual experience with real world tuning (still trying to learn this stuff lol) but it would seem to me that unless you plan on using the bass boost, set the gain with the bass boost all the way down. Like I said, I'm still a n00b at this, so take what I said with a grain of salt.
  7. While I'm of the opinion that you call them up and see what they want to do with the amp, I'll play devil's advocate. That's not the same thing. That would mean someone had malicious intent from the get go. A better example would be if you are selling a sub and you told the guy "The sub's in the box in front of my house." The box's all sealed up, so the guy just takes the box without checking it. That guy didn't start out wanting another subwoofer. You basically told him to take it. Do I think it is right to keep something if you know it isn't yours? No, but I also know that expecting someone to return it if I was the seller is highly unlikely. ____ One of the many things my grandfather taught me is that if you even think it's wrong, it probably is. My first impulse was to just keep the amplifier. Afterward, it was almost like a gutcheck; something wasn't right. Point is, even though your getting caught and having to return the amp is extrememly low, is that really something you want to have bothering you? I'd much rather be out of an amplifier (that isn't mine in the first place) than have to live with myself knowing that I just fucked someone over. Be it a company or an individual. Do I think you're a bad person if you decide to keep it? No, that isn't my place. I just know I couldn't live with myself knowing that. *gets off soapbox*
  8. (I'm always going to suggest this. lol) Chicken, two words: Forced Induction. ARGH!!! Tease. lol I was expecting at least one of these http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/hairtrick.gif I hope not. I love that color.
  9. Question. Are you asking whether or not you should do this, or have you already decided to do it, and just asking because you don't know if you are going to blow your engine up? Don't know much about on the Ford engines, but straight pipes have a tendency to sound like shit IMO, but they are loud as hell. If you want an idea, when you go into the shop to get your stuff done, just have them cut the pipes, and pull it down. Fire it up and see how you like it. If you don't have them put it back up, and weld in a muffler. If you're just looking for loud, get something like a Super 44. They at least sound decent. As for power loss, that just means it's time for forced induction. lol
  10. ESOK? Google didn't help me on that one. lol
  11. The main thing I was looking at was HDMI inputs (for the Xbox 360). Whether or not that is important to you *shrug*. But I wanted to eventually put everything on my monitor. I'd get at TV tuner card run that through my PC, I already have a DVD-ROM drive on my computer, so I'm set with that. Basically I'd set my computer up to be the media center in my room. Like I said, I haven't done much looking into monitors yet as that purchase is still a ways off (probably not going to happen until this time next year), but the display is moderately crisp, if a little bright.
  12. This is what I'm currently looking at. I haven't done much comparing though. HP w2207h
  13. Word. I DEFINITELY couldn't have done it. As soon as I realized that both engines went out, I'd have gone ape-shit. And then if I actually landed the plane, I'd have been the first one off. lol That pilot has my respect. Not only did he keep his head in a trying situation, he made sure everyone else on the plane was off before he got off.
  14. If RRT is the site he runs like he said it is, he isn't lying. That site has a shit ton of members.
  15. Actually NeoFrog is correct. Wow this thread had a bunch of arguments. lol As for the actual topic, I think you said it best yourself: Using my logic, I would think there would be a difference, but to the average human ear, it would hardly be noticeable. I'd be like that 1 hp advantage racer 1 has over racer 2. It CAN make a difference, but the likelyness that it will is ridiculously small. Care to share? (I make a rhyme!)
  16. *Noob Alert!* Sorry for the off-topic post, but what exactly is a cycle? I get hertz, but I keep hearing of "cycles" but don't know what they are. Anyone care to explain?
  17. This may be more suited for what you want. http://help.aol.com/help/microsites/micros...ternalId=218791 They the link to the download there. I'm not sure of the differences between the free version and the full version, but this should link to the full version. TBH, either way you would have been screwed. Unless something's changed in the past two or three years, NetZero and Juno are basically the same people.
  18. His name sounds vaguely familiar, but I don't know how/why. Either way, I really like his style.

    Wow.

x2 And I love you avatar.
  20. I just got my speakers in about twenty minutes ago. Set-up was easy enough. Everything was labeled; it was pretty much idiot proof. Took all of ten minutes to unpack and set everything up. Get them on my laptop and listening to them now as a matter of fact. Initial impression? OH MY FUCKING GOODNESS! This thing is freaking awesome. If this is what the 2300 sounds like, I can only imagine the 5500. I'll probably get a video up for comparison in the near future. I want to try and break in the set first though. Overall: I'm iz happeh!
