what other programs are you running along with it?? because if you did upgrade it over time it should be perfectly fine.. I agree final cut is an amazing program.. (im just not a mac fan lol) but a mac mini would be the most "efficient" way to go as it could be used for other things.. ever thought of editing in the hoe as you go???

the problem with vegas is its a huge resource hog... (have you thought about upgrading cpu graphics card and ram????) i use vegas with 8 gig of ram and i NEVER have a problem.. (yea with HUGE videos but never vids the size that you post)

Clean.. Take your time and clean it up reallll good.. Take alot of pictures of everything.. list alot of good things and try to limit your self on the bad... (3-4 is usually a good stopping place) if there are any sqeaks rattles anything GET THEM FIXED or hide them reallll good.. (i work at a car dealership so yea)

Both cars have some issues.. But both cars could be the select few if you drive right that wont have problems at all.. I loved my old explorer no problems and i beat the living shit out of it.. My buddies ranger has just over 100 on it and everything is going.. My mount had 140 on it when i was done(and i blew the motor by holding it at 6k for about 35 mins) (wanted it to blow because i had another waiting lol) i say explorer.. it will be alot easier to get loud..

i was thinking possibly doing a nice little glass box to put in the corner of the trunk... i dont want to weigh it down a ton.. as of right now with street tires it runs a 13.1 so if i can keep it under 13.5 untill i get my kb ill be happy.. Not my car but you can see how big the trunk is...

since i just found a nice size of cash.. i am sticking to a reasonable budget... nothing over 2 grand for subs and amps.. because well i dont want it that big.. (as for my source i got part of my will money finally)
