  1. A door pack will do 2 doors decently well, and 1 door very VERY well. Depends on the size of the door, but most people use one pack per door... ANT
  2. Any solvent like acetone or paint thinner wil lwork fine, Just make sure that no matter what cleaning agent you use, the last thing you do is wipe the panel down with water, several times, just to make sure there is no residue left over which may interfere with adhesion. ANT
  3. We have a ton of jeep pwners that use Damplifier Pro on the ceiling of their hard top. I never did mine, but lots of guys do, and from what they tell me, they get awesome results. Probably would be be to ad some upholstery to it once you are done, but most don't ANT
  4. Spectrum requires 30 days to fully cure. Most of the water will be released within the first week I would wait 30 dyas but if you are in a hurry, 1 week might be ok... ANT
  5. I am getting ready to step up to a JK Here is what I am going to do 40 SPL Tiles 6 Gallons Spectrum - inside and out 3 Sheets Luxury Liner Pro That is about it. ANT

  8. First off, thanks for your order! The Tiles are mean little bastards for sure! Thickest foil in the industry! The adhesive is butyl, which is not as effected by temperature as some other, less quality adhesives tend to be. A heat gun or hair dryer will help a good deal to make it more pliable, but heat is not required. Hope that helps! ANT
  9. Very true.. Every day someone calls me and asks how much my Dynamat costs, or, how mu dynamat compares to the real Dynamat. They have the name locked down for sure! ANT
  10. Pic looks great man! Thanks for getting it up. Now that it has cured, how is the texture? Yeah.. We have it in stock, though I have not added it to our site yet. Call me up to order 623-533-8193 ANT
  11. Hushmat is a great product Stinger Road Kill Expert is good, but the adhesive is a far less quality than every other butyl based damper out there. Both are going to be pretty close in thickness to Damplifier Pro The difference is the foil thickness. Damplifier PRo has a thicker foil thatn both of the other products.. Hope that helps ANT
  12. The best thing you can do is to call up the owner of Second Skin and see if mentioning this thread will give the OP ONLY!!!!! a 50% discount.. Worth a shot.... ANT
  13. Glad it arrived! Be sure to let me knowwhat you think Jacob! I personally love the stuff. ANT
  14. Second Skin is happy to announce that we now have our T-shirts in stock! Sizes range from Small, medium and Large, and are available in black only Check them out here: http://www.secondskinaudio.com/products/so...ner-t-shirt.php Thanks for your attention! ANT
  15. Depends on which Raammat version you have. BXt? BXT II ? Floor only (aspahlt) Let us konw which version of Raammat you have. In most cases high heat, or very cold temperatures will do it A heat gun and a putty knife is a good start. Dry ice is grat ut not always effective and takes a long time.. ANT
  16. Yup Jacob is the hussle! Product, service, and character; Jacob rocks ANT
  17. Actually I think that the price increase on raw materials came last year. In the last 2 years I have seen 6 price inceases from my raw material vendors. It just kept going up and up and up. I suspect that Dynamat saw the same thing and they just held off as long as they could. Now, that times are tough, they have to pass that increase on to customers. We had a small price increase a while ago but have nothing on the books as of now. Plus, by having a price incrase dynamat gets to focus on the customer that are willing to spend more money with them, thus making up for the ones that drop off because o fthe price increase. ANT
  18. Give me a call and I'll take care of you Just remind me about this thread so I know what you are talking about 623-533-8193 If I don't answer, leave a message. I will call you back. Maybe on monday, but you will hear from me ATN
  19. The package you are talking about was specifically for the video package (which started 2 months ago). We only sold a couple of the packages though. Once the video contest was over, we took it down. What is it that you need for your project? I might be able to help ANT
  20. It is only going to be available in black, which will be a good deal darker than what you see inthe pics. The coating prototype is grey. Black will look better. No other colors will be available. It is kind of smoother, but has a small amount of grip to it. Not a ton though. It is loaded with crumb rubber bit to give the texture. The thicker you apply the coating, the more the rubber gets covered. A very thing coat would more like paint with snad mixed in to it. Thicker coats tend to exceed the thickness of the rubber bits and make a softer texture. It is available now but it is not currently listed on our site. We are adding a shopping cart to diyma.com so this might end up as a diyma product rather than a Second Skin one. Not sure where it would fit in with the sound deadening and insualtion products we offer. DIYMA might be a better fit. Designed for cosmetics and durability, but since it an acrylic blend, it will reduce vibrations to some extent. NOt nearly as good as our Spectrum or Sludge noise coatings but it will help. Somewhere in the $50-60 range as of now. 1 gallon will cover about 50-60 sq feet. Answered above.. ANT
  21. I blended up a nice sized lab batch of our new enclosure caoting product and got it in the hands of a few people for testing. The product is pretty much ready to go, but I need to make a couple slight changes to help with minor mud cracking. It is a water based acrylic loaded with 30 mesh bubber bit for a bed liner type look. An alterntive to carpet that can be brushed or sprayed. Here are his pics: ANT
  22. Wow.. I wish so many Second Skin threads did not turn in to ca.com turds.. Steve was pointing out his happiness with the product. Nothing more. To read in to anything else seems to be looking for trouble. Megalo was pointing out room for improvment based on his understanding of acoustical control. Not much else.. Somehow all of this turns in to a heated argument.. How about we get back on topic and spread some Christmas cheer? ANT
