  1. FYI, some users have signatures turned off, so if they are asking about something that may be in your sig, be nice and just answer.
  2. You probably can, but the only problem I would see is getting it started. With plunge router you can set the pin in the center hole, and then plunge the router down to start cutting. With a fixed base, you would be trying to set the pin in the center hole, but the bit would be hitting the wood at the same time. You could try drilling a starting hole for the bit to go into so you could set the pin and then fire up the router and start cutting.
  3. http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=ANL200 $5.99 at Knukonceptz and they accept paypal.
  4. Is the front battery grounded to chassis at all or just to the motor? If your motor has an old or dirty ground to chassis, that could be a problem if the battery is only grounded to the motor.

  6. Mechman has the best prices in town on Powermaster batteries, also mention to Matt you are from SMD and you get free shipping. Also check out Rob at DCPower for alts too. Customer Service at both places is great.
  7. Thanks for a great post. I will find it very helpful when I do my doors, they look surprisingly similar
  8. Yea, but I think its 150db's at a higher frequency. Saw something like that on Future Weapons.
  9. I've done business with both DC Power and Mechman. I have a 250a alt from DC Power, nothing but love for this thing. I bought some Powermaster batteries from Mechman, free shipping if you tell him your from SMD. Robs (DC Power) customer service is the best there is. I haven't really had to call Mechman for help, but he was very nice to deal with over the phone. No complaints. I say either of those 2 companies will be good choices.
  10. Keep checking ebay, they pop up every now and then. Not always together though. The controller is the RUX-C701 so you may have to search for that seperately. Crutchfield has the controller new for $250
  11. Keep your head up and try to be confident. Good luck with your next try !!!
  12. I've had the problem where the t-nuts would turn on ya bending the prongs. What I do now is instead of trying to hammer the nuts on, I just start it on the end of the bolt, apply some wood glue to the underside of the t-nut (where it touches the wood) and then pull it into the wood by turning the bolts. Once the glue dries, they aren't going anywhere.
  13. I use these http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.c...tnumber=260-778

  15. I have the WT3 tester and I'd still like to know how to do it by hand. Lets do it !!!
  16. College is hit or miss when it comes to helping you get a job. My wife went to college, I didn't. I'm making 30k more than her, go figure. But I have friends that did go to college and are banking more than me, so it can go both ways. Glad I couldn't help !!! When I grow up I want to be a Yes Man !!!
  17. Hahaha, thats cool. I like the rims too.
  18. Try living in South Florida. Not only do we have every stupid shit that ever got a drivers license, its one of the retirement capitals of the USA. Blind and deaf people with shiny white hair that can barely see over the steering wheel driving all over the place.
