  1. Its a guy thing. Men are easily distrac... Wow, did you see the funbags on that hose hound?
  2. Yea, my HTC Evo would be useless without the data plan. Actually I think you can't even get the Evo without the data plan.
  3. Not only are your skills amazing, you obviously have a very creative mind. Shit looks like artwork!!
  4. Just remember that the tubes will be 4", the flares will be larger. I'm not exactly sure how wide the 4" flares are, but the flares for my 6" aeros are 9" wide if that gives you an idea. Edit: I found this on the Precision Port website...
  5. They don't make 5" Aeros, they have 4" and 6" though. Try to keep them the diameter of the port away from the wall. So if its a 6" port, keep it 6" away from the wall.
  6. I'm also in IT, since 1989. Since I'm an old fart with experience, I make good money. However, I've been unemployed twice in the last two years and getting interviews is the hardest part. Once I get the interview I usually nail it. It can just take forever to get that interview.
  7. Alpine makes a solid unit. But like has been said, its limited on expandability. Most amps will be able to make full power off of 2v preouts, so don't worry too much about 2v, 4v, etc... as long as your gain on the amp is set properly.
  8. My advice is to stick it out if you can since you already have a year and them some completed. The way the job market is down here, anything you can put on your resume will help you. There are so many job applicants for each position, companies can really be picky when they choose candidates. The downside is that even with a college degree, you probably will not make too much at first. Its all in how much of an edge you want when looking for a job. Economy sucks, so does looking for jobs right now.
  9. As long as the other insurance company has accepted liability, you can go through your own insurance. You will pay the deductible up front, but you will be reimbursed after the other ins company pays up. I went through the other ins company when I got hit, I'll never do that again. They fucking nickel and dimed the repair shop to death which made the repair take an extra week. Had I gone through USAA (my ins)it would have just been fixed right.
  10. If you just took the one end of the RCA from the Fosgate and hooked it up to the SAZ, leaving the end of the RCA hooked up to the HU alone, then the problem is somewhere with your SAZ and 12's. When the bass cuts out, is the amp still on? Or is the amp turned off? If the amp is still turned on, then you can check to see if there is anything on the outputs by checking voltage with a DMM on the outputs. IF there is output, but subs are still not playing, check the wiring to the subs.
  11. In reference to the question in your other thread about the aero's: Since I can see them in this pic, just cut the tubes in half and buy 2 new connecting rings. I'm guessing those are 6" aeros? Precision Port 6" Connecting Ring at Madisound.com Then you can just glue the 2 pieces back together in your new baffle.
  12. Those do look sexy murdered out like that. Nice 12's.
  13. Editing a Rush song, especially Tom Sawyer is just plain sacrilege. Guess I'm just a Rush snob.
  14. I have both jaspers and yes, they came with the centering pins. You're gonna love the Jasper!!
  15. Congrats Steve! Now you have the chance of playing with your grandkid and when you have had enough say "Here you go!" and hand him/her back to your daughter hehehehehe.
  16. Did you notice the impedance rise in the test results? Different enclosures would definitely affect the test results.
  17. Either way, a year and a half ago is still old news. But that is what they get for producing pieces of crap for several decades.
