its the top of the line pioneer 2DIN, they also have flip down versions and 1 din versions i believe. ill get you a link to one guy who has it on youtube..it even measures horizontal and lateral G forces. Its pretty sweet. They talk about the headunit at 2:45 and 3:55, i think you can change the dials to read voltage, speed, g's, and maybe more but im not 100% sure cuz i dont have one.

Monsters Inside Me..

yea i watch like 3 episodes right after one another..shit's creepy but cool also. Gets you hooked and keeps you wanting to know what the parasite is. Thats dudes leg that spewed green juice was just plain gross tho... -
your best option would be to only use 8 of the speakers or get 4 more speakers and two 4 channel amps. Because trying to run 6 speakers off each channel on a 2 channel amp wont turn out that well..plus each speaker wont be seeing that much power anyway. Even with two 2 channel amps you are still trying to run 3 speakers off of each channel on each amp which would be a 1.3 ohm load so you will be running your amp at too low of an ohm load which could cause damage.

extention cord + voice coils + wall socket = Very naice then cut it up and look at the vc then toss it and keep the magnet. -
Full and HPF settings simply means what you want the speakers to be playing..it has nothing to do with the High level input. HPF = High pass filter, your speakers will only be sent 100-200+ hz tones, FULL = all frequencies will be sent to you're speakers. You're crossovers for your components should already filter out the frequencies and send the high ones to the tweeter and the low ones to the woofer, but the amp should be set to HPF never the less. Let your speakers do their job (higher freq) and let the sub do its job (lower freq).

Knukonceptz?

their higher end cables are fantastic for the price but the lower end speaker cables and wire are just like any other underground wire company. But yes their 1/0 cables are very good for the price. -
i dont have an ipod so i cant comment on the i-pod capabilities, but yes alpine has the best HU to ipod interface of any other HU out there. So if thats important to you then you should pick up an alpine.

i like alpines higher end lines, thier 100-200 dollar lines lack features, even my $250 9885 lacks many features that a $200 dollar pioneer would have. But my pioneer DEH4000UB lacks horribly in its shuffle feature and its USB features, it takes literally for ever to scroll through 1200+ mp3's on a usb drive cuz you have to go through each track. It only shuffles when a song is done playing, so if you try to skip the song it'll go to the next song in order and not SUFFLE LIKE ITS FUCKING SUPPOSED TO!! lol w/e, ive heard many many good things about kenwoods and i will get one as my next HU since the pre-outs on my pioneer are starting to go bad -.-...Dont know what kind of features they have but its a good HU to try out. Clarion also makes bomb ass HU's..lots of pre amp volatage.

dunno only had to call them once for amp trouble and the operator helped me though my issue, other than that i cant rly say. But i buy all my stuff from there, their prices have gone up so just google that head unit and see if any1 else sells it cheaper. You prob wont cuz they have free shipping on orders over 100 dollars

got a bass knob hooked up to the amps? is it turned all the way up? do the amps have a voltage selector like the clarion amps do? is it set to 2-6v?

any jeep from 91-01 with the 4.0 straight six should fit the alt, every 4.0 HO is exactly the same.

B FTMFW i find it much easier to rip that way and since the rolling thing is so close to my knee when im on the toilet it just makes it akward to have it in the A position. Plus it just looks neater in the B position since the unravled part is close to the wall and kinda blends in. I just went into way too much detail on some toilet paper lol.

New Box For The Jeep
eliassami5 replied to sundownz's topic in Sundown Audio - GREAT Amps/Subs! GREAT Customer Service!
ill have to keep that in mind when designing my next box for the jeep. Ive only got 3" of space between the box and the bottom trim piece, but more like 4-5" of space between the box and the hatch itself so i thin it should be fine. lookin forward to see updates -
