    the spider landing is at least a must for it. I tend to use the same glue for all of it.

    if you want to test it out go to lowes or home depot and get the air conditioning weather stripping seal stuff. Stuff it into the gaps around your box. its one of hte easiest ways to seal off and although not permanent its pretty durable. Well I guess I should say as long as you don't have any large gaps my box is like 1 inch at most from all three sides.

    it will play much lower once sealed off. alot of people use spray foam.
