one thing i had happen once before was I didnt secure a woofer lead into the terminal and it came out. After it started moving alot it would slap the basket and send the amp into protect. I thought I blew a woofer so I ended up missing a car show. Didnt pull the woofer til I got home and saw it. :angry:

you could try letting it warm up and see if thats the issue. It sounds like you either got a coil on the way out launching it into protect or the amp is going to the big amp playground in the sky.

Next thing oyu know you got 43 people talking shit on manufacturers and all are supporters of this forum. I can say this. Both DC and T3 are preferred manufacturers on this site. There's no bottom of the barrel vendors sporting the supporting vendor tag here. I dont think you could go wrong with either brand. If you want something tried and true go DC if you want to rock the boat a little and try some brand new to the market woofers that will probably knock your face off as well go T3
