I have another set of kicks on the way as well as 4 more fuse holders.

all the higher end units should have a defeatable amp option on them my kenwood xxv-01d does and the eclipse 8454 I have does as well.

music and burps are seperate and im betting they had them strapped as well. so take the .7 and half it. each amp would see .35. The high voltage could be the reason they roll into it. The super low impedance could be another. lots of reasons that only the nw audio guys can probably answer.
