  1. LoL..I swore I read 4 12s. It may have been the plethora of numbers together lol. F it, I'm going to bed now.
  2. almost 3 cube per 12? and wouldn't it be 1 ohm with 4 SVC?
  3. Soooo you don't have to be a douche for 1. Secondly I haven't gotten around to buying a dd-1 yet, or my H/o alts, head unit, good 4 channel, mids and highs, rest of batteries, wire, suspension, wheels, etc. I'm still in the middle of my build, basics are done now i'm upgrading. Amps are turned 3/4 of the way up. and all levels on head unit are 0 or below to prevent clipping the best I could. A dd-1 is something I would use once and then it would sit in the shed for a long time. Kind of a waste of money since I don't do anyone elses builds. So it is not high on my priority list. There is a topic to where you can see who has one near you. Regardless if you only use something once, what would you rather do? Spend 140 for a dd-1 or new subs over and over? I bet one sub costs more than the dd-1?!?!?! Basics aren't buying 6k watts and subs, a few batteries then asking why you smell coil. There are no basics at that point of the game. 4-channel, mids highs, deck are more of 'basics'
  4. Whats the difference between full tilt and maxxed out?
  5. Damn all this talk reminds me. Rob, I need to give you a call. Finally to needing my alt lol. 2005 VW GTI 1.8T 200+? BTW, Typically is the other key word. Trust me, DCP is no joke with their product.
  6. Decaf, This is all I could find. I'll check and see if it shows more info on/ in the box at home. http://www.powerbassusa.com/sites/powerbassusa.com/files/3xl_comp_oman_web.pdf Thx!
  7. In need of a PB crossover for the 3xl-60 Comps. Looks like this: Mine stopped working. Or I'll take two xovers that are equivalent to 12dB 2-way Crossovers. Thanks!
  8. Ha! I just realized, it is a constant stream from when it happenned to the end of it yesterday! You can really see the radiation in it now.
  9. OOoohhh here we go! http://www.stocktrekimages.com/article20120124.asp Enjoy. Frikken cool looking.
  10. Hahaha. I'm in DC. Work with all the NOAA satellites (in a nutshell). Did anyone get any good shots of the lights????? This is all I could find so far. Europe got the better view.. http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/europe/the-northern-lights-dance-over-northern-england-scotland-ireland-after-massive-solar-storm/2012/01/24/gIQALNo9MQ_story.html
  11. I had a problem with my TDi going into Limp Mode. Similar to yours but in a diesel. I replaced all vacuum lines, the actuator and even some of the relays and got nothing, so I know your pain. One other thing to consider, and may sound odd, is the cat. If it gets clogged it will cause too much back pressure problems as well. Too much back pressure might cause the backfire through the intake as the exhaust has no where to go. I could be wrong, but being an older car, it may be this. I never fixed mine completely lol, but still averaged 48-50mpg, so I quit trying. Spent too much money on a car with 350k miles on it.
  12. Take some vids and pictures for your southern SMD brothers. For reals!! It's suppose to be a G3 level. Basically it affects: G 3 Strong Power systems: voltage corrections may be required, false alarms triggered on some protection devices. Spacecraft operations: surface charging may occur on satellite components, drag may increase on low-Earth-orbit satellites, and corrections may be needed for orientation problems. Other systems: intermittent satellite navigation and low-frequency radio navigation problems may occur, HF radio may be intermittent, and aurora has been seen as low as Illinois and Oregon (typically 50° geomagnetic lat.)**. found here if interested: http://www.swpc.noaa.gov/NOAAscales/ Being I work with Polar satellites, it is of some concern on the drag and the electronics of some of our older birds (satellites). I doubt it will be real bad, but looking at that scale, it shows the damage these geomagnetic storms can do. Stone age...about right and without a quick recovery. You'd have to launch a new bird in some/ most cases.
  13. I don't think it will fry anything. We are monitoring the heck out of our satellites though lol. It will have some affect on orbit, etc, but overall, you may not notice anything other than the lights. Get some vids if you!!
  14. A nice little loop of the solar flare from last night. Geomagnetic storm to be here tomorrow morning, which means some nice aurora/ northern lights. Enjoy if you live north and heck if it is strong enough, maybe even mid US. You'll see the image with a bunch of spots/ static looking. That is the radiation hit the satellite.
  15. I bet man. This morning was nuts. That one spammed this thread a ton. Like I said, this bot thing is almost a full time job keeping them out!
  16. LoL. Nate, should I report just so you get the message on your phone? =P
  17. I hate you. lol. Lesson one: don't have kids. Lesson two: don't take kids to Disney when you are in the process of a build. Lesson three: don't have kids..
  18. Love the truck man, Wife is hot (don't take that wrong haha) and what is the guy on the right trying to do to that girl? Sundown doing things right, as usual.
