WTF did you just say? I run out of breath before I get to the end of your 'sentence'. lol I've ran RF and loved it and honestly, the only thing worth it with RF is their amps and mids/ highs. Subs aren't really anything like they use to be. PB is similar to RF in that aspect, but people say their subs are decent. I haven't heard them, but with what I have seen from PB, their amps are no joke and I can't wait to get mine back! (bought them inop lol)

powerbass = garbage IMO.. RF = great quality. Why garbage? just because it isn´t as expensive as your RF??? i mean, i have a 400.4 for about 5 years now without any problems, i used an asa1500.1 and sounded awesome for the price, also ested the xta4000D and it´s a monster, it can take 0.5 ohms for music and 0.25 ohms for burps without any problems, not like your RF by the way By the way, look at Pulse car audio videos using a pair of powerbass amps for a single DD 9515 hitting 157 dbs sealed on the dash, and then you might think again about saying is garbage, of course, i respect your opinion as your preferences by using RF wich i totally understand, but garbage?? yeah right run that powerbass at .25 daily and see how long it will last.. when it comes to amps you should not cheap out.. sure the 4 channel ones may work alright.. but in the long run of going through cheap amps you could have bought one nice one that lasts years and years.. Have you ran PB? Being on RF nuts doesn't mean Steve will like you more.

Yea, but he said the stud isn't replaceable. Can't connect power wire, then whats the point? read it again. they cant just reattach the stud, they have to replace the rectifier because the stud is part of it. at least thats my understanding of it. I see what your saying. It just threw me off with the guy saying it was a 145 on there and needs replaced. But then the following sentence said the stud cant be. Honestly, call Mech or DCP and see what they tell you or even order the Rectifier and stud from them. I would prefer to spend a little extra and get it done by someone who knows about h/o alts, then spend the money and have it done wrong (not saying the guy would do it on purpose, but just not knowing our bad habits enough).

If the stud cannot be replaced, then is it usable? I would also contact the company where it was mani'd at. If it has the wrong Rect. on it, then it should be corrected...I'd think.
