hey jacob... i tried to send you a pm but i believe you have it disabled... i have a few concerns regarding shipping...

ebay is great... amp looks good... build your own box... its not worth the shipping... not only will it be cheaper... its a great learning experience... i will never go back to prefab again...thats jus me... but hey its your money... and ur first system... everybody got to start somewhere... this is what i predict will happen if you do go prefab... 1. order the box 2. get ripped off shipping 3. install your gear 4. after a while... unsatisfied 5. feels the urge to be louder 6. creates a new thread "i have______ subs in a prefab box... can anyone help me with a new box design?" 7. builds a properly built box that gets the most out of your subs... 8. satisfied the urge... at least for now... lol... ive been there... done that... well except #6... i lurked and read topics for like 6 months before making a design my self...

check ur local hardware stores. but make sure u have the model of ur router... i found out the hard way that they dont have it for all model routers.

im using knu's 8ga power wire for my speaker wire... and i dont think its getting warm... then again.. most of the time.. my gain is way down (mids cant keep up)... i would turn the gain down... edit: if its sparking.. somthing is shorting... check that first... edit again... nvm... lol pics would be helpful

why not upgrade amp and subs? im pretty sure that Boss Ch3000d doesnt do rated power... anyways.. back to the op... theres DC, Fi, AA, Sundown ect ect... i will stand by DC... last time i checkd.. they have a pretty high xmax compared to other subs i lookd at... but this is what i would reccomend... save up ur cash... and do a complete rebuild... new subs/amps/mids/wiring/box/ HU (if nessesary)... you can always start slowly... ohh and its always about build quility, you cn have the best sh*t money can buy, but if you dont know how to install/build properly. then you wont get the most out of it...

technically a busbar is jus a thick solid piece of copper or aluminum with screws in it.... the "150 amp" tells me that they are using a thin piece of metal... also... you say u have a 300 amp alt... unless you have 2 runs of 0ga (from the alt)... u may "burn" the bolt...lol... but some might argue that 300 amp alt only does 300amp at like 6k rpm not at idle... but thats a different story... your better off making it your self to be honest...

i ask for a comparison... they are both advertised as 4ga. tell me... which one is better? i say more the strands the better... another thing is composition.... example.. nope... it looks cheap... it doesnt say a thread count.... and only 13$ difference from knukonceptz 1/0 ga. i would reccomnd to go with knu's stuff... its the sh*t...

double check all the wiring after you replace your ground... and dont ignore it.... you dont want ur car to catch on fire... if the LED on the amp turns off.. then it sounds like you have some serious voltage drop... do you have the big 3 done? what ga wiring you using???

2600 rms? coming from what amp?? and whats the box specs?... i would go for the 2 15s if you have the room... if not go for the DC lvl 5...

yes u can do that but dont use a regular lead acid battery in the back unless your trunk is sealed or properly ventilated... regular lead acid batteries releases fumes when they get warm... go for a sealed deep cycle battery(ie. marine battery for boats)... big 3 helps alot with diming... highly recommned using 0 ga for that... im runing on stock alt (75 amp) in my setup but my 2 d3100s batteries are helping alot... an HO alt is next on my list... i jumped from 500 rms to 2500 rms... once the bass bug bites you... youll want go get louder and louder.. lol...

how much for the camera??? do you have any graphics cards that has an AGP socket? i have an ancient computer i wana revive. lol..

im building a sealed enclosure for my RF T165s... still under construction tho..

i would go for the RF amp... ive built a couple t-lines... even if its underpowerd... it will still kick hard... my first tline was for 2 old pioneer 10s only doing 150w rms on a 4channel kenwood amp... it was jus a test box... but man was i suprised with its preformance... foreverbumpin is right.. to much power will kill your sub in the tline... check out my build in my sig.. youll see what i mean..

a couple d3100s should be good... between the 2 choices your looking at... i would say kinetic... but yea... what model yellowtops u lookin at?

2 lvl 5 12's FTW... lol... how much room do have to wrk with? i would go for 2 lvl 4xl 12's or 3 lvl 4 10's if you can fit em...

im using a d3100 up front and another in the cab....
