  1. Haha nice way to put it. But ya, I'd go for 2 18"s.
  2. Haha that's funny. Perhaps if he gets of the computer, gets a lil more mature, works out a lil, and isn't a complete tool, he'll finally have a gf.
  3. I guess I can't really talk because I'm the same way lol. For a while I did something different like every couple months lol. Once I get this build done I'm gonna leave it alone for a little while and work on some other things and save. Gl with the new build, can't wait to see it.
  4. Didn't you just finish this like not too long ago lol? What's going in now?
  5. That's messed up lol. If I did that to my gf, she would probably beat my ass after I wiped it off lol.
  6. Took the words outa my mouth. A perfect example of the oxidation is the statue of liberty, or a silver chain. The copper that it is made of turned very green because of the corrosive environment that it is exposed to. A silver chain will tarnish, this is why a gold chain won't have to be cleaned ever pretty much, but a silver one will have to be cleaned all the time.
  7. I keep getting emails saying that I have pm's, but when I go to check them, there aren't any there. Is anyone else having this problem? I'm not trying to be mean or insulting or anything, this is a great forum and I enjoy it here. Just wanna see what's going on.
  8. I'm looking for two SAZ-3000d's (new heat sink) for my build. I'm also looking for a Maxx-Link, SAX-100.4, Deka 9a31 batteries (preferably new), and some 1/0 (maybe around 80ft.). I probably won't be hunting too hard for the 100.4 yet, just figured I'd add it to see what comes up. Let me know what you all got.
  9. Haha I bet the cat loved that lol.
  10. I thought about putting a 9 volt to the terminal, but I figured that would be too mean lol.
  11. We were looking for my gf's cat and couldn't find him. So we sat down to watch tv, then see a lil head poke outa her box, which is sitting in her living room right now. I thought it was kinda funny so we took some pics. The flash really shows the staples. Using thick heavy carpet ftl.
  12. Couldn't have said it better. The sealed chambers tend to seem really small. For instance, my gf's two 10"s are in .7 cubes, into 2.1 cubes.
  13. I'm no expert by any means, but the sealed chambers look pretty big, and the ported chamber looks small.
  14. Good batteries > caps all day. Before anyone can truly help you, what is your total budget?
  15. Maybe a 4th order with the port going through the window and sealed off? Pics of truck and area to use?
  16. That's always reliable, I do it a lot in class when we're not busy. But if I have my computer near, I like to use Google Sketch-Up
  17. What are your goals for the setup, what music do you listen to, and what amps are you running...Ported will give you more output than sealed, but generally sealed yields better sq.
  18. Go with a Deka 9a31 or two, better battery IMO, and costs less.
  19. These are just a couple ideas. Amp (as long as he still has it): http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/F...-CA-t35381.html Subs: https://ssl.perfora.net/www.ficaraudio.com/...view.shopscript Or: http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/store/p...lty-Series.html ...Had to add them. You can browse around here as well: http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/store/ Then a couple g31 batteries (Deka 9a31's are great for the price), 40 or so feet (although more can't hurt) of 1/0, fuses and fuse holders. These can all be found on here in the classifieds Everything I've linked to can be found used around these forums in the classifieds, so keep an eye out there. You can also search AudioQue (AQ), Incriminator Audio (IA), Fi, Digital Designs (DD), Sundown, etc to see if there is something better out there that meet your needs.
  20. I like, this may be my new favorite song from Born. I always like Empires Erased and Open Arms to Damnation, but this is pretty cool.
  21. I agree with this...There are some Sundown's floating around out there for a great price, I think I saw one for like $525 plus shipping...Hopefully it doesn't sell for a couple weeks cause I need 2 more 3000D's lol jk. OP: How much money are you want to spend for everything? And try and get a couple measurements when you can. ^^^Again, beat me to it^^^ I need to go eat or something and hope I can come back typing faster.
  22. I think there was a GP3000D somewhere around here in the classifieds, but it may have been another forum. They're not bad amps, wouldn't be my 1st choice, but not bad by by any means.
  23. The motors are in the rear chamber here. It's something me and my gf kinda just threw together in a weekend so she can have a lil bass. The wood, subs, and amp all came from the attic lol. They've been sitting up there forever, so we put them to use....Can't wait to get some good gear in there.
  24. It is a box that has a front and rear chamber. The rear chamber is sealed, and the front is ported. I have some pics of a 4th I did for my gf, I'll upload them real quick to give you an idea.
