  1. Sure beats my old life of drugs and drinking, but yes there's seems to be some sort of problem with me and 12volt!
  2. Audiopipe subs are a good cheap option, I have installed them the xxl series were very good for the money. http://www.audiopipe.com/gal-catalog.asp You can find them on ebay
  3. lol, this thread has me in stiches. To the OP im not laughing at you, your at least narrowing it down. The answers that everyone is giving made my friday
  4. I have installed and used both and both have performed very well for the money.
  5. There's a linux distro called "Backtrack" this has alot of usefull tools for networking, password gathering. Not sure if your looking for something like this: http://www.remote-exploit.org/backtrack_download.html There's forums for this and other tools as well.
  6. We were gunna do this when I had my 2608d's and the 4-15" FI's with filling the whole car with leafs. It's fall again in Michigan and I have a pile big enough to fill the whole car, I should try it.
  7. Yea, swapping the SR20 parts on to it should give some increase for little cost. You might be able to do cams but I think you'll have to edit the ecu or find an ecu that can be edited. I would ask on a nissan forum, I'm sure someone out there has got some more out this motor, however I do see alot of them at the junk yards which means people don't grab them to often. Unlike the Honda GSR motors (B18c1-3-5) which are impossible to get! Good luck in your endeavor.
  8. I dont see why it couldnt do 5 even 6k if its for short burps with a clean signal.
  9. I read a few threads about the SR16VE and the SR20, it looks as though alot of builders stay away from the SR16. It's a 1.6 liter usualy out of the pulsar (not saying yours was) and has 11:1 compression ratio. The SRDET's are worth building and or turboing but every thread I read about the SR16 said that turboing the 16 wouldnt be wise.
  10. I would say definetly yes! those are some good amps if it wouldnt cost much to fix, I have been looking into fixing some of mine. I found that Rockford will give you the schematics for any amp that they have made, this in turn has helped me to fix an old p4004 amp.
  11. It's funny when people make those statements, it's always enclosure. I can take any of the subs named here and make them sound good or bad based on the enclosure. So Accordman is right on here, also to the OP Orion was one of my favorite companies at one time, they used to make electronics for the government more specifically military aviation and around the 90's they brought out the hcca series for the first time and the XTR for that matter and it was all awsome.
  12. To the OP, I bought all my internals for my head (PR3 froma b16) from Jeff Evans as well, his pricing was good. You might be able to beat pricing but his knowledge on honda's goes beyond obsession! lol
