  1. Legally I can't sell any of the shirts or boxes, not that I would want to. If producing the boxes out of real cardboard (similar to beer-case cardboard) then I might be able to send off some to those who want one for free, would be up to Rusty. By the way, I did the vertical design that Rusty currently sells, here's the link if you want the shirt. http://dcaudio.myshopify.com/collections/dc-audio-t-shirts
  2. I've got a few designs laying around to choose from. Which should I use?
  3. Haha! Never thought about that, I suppose you could. Would be funny to show off at shows. I was way ahead of you boss, remember, this is the prototype. I still need to add screws on the ends, and when I'm finished it'll have mounting feet that will have a Hang Tab holes punched for hanging displays. I did have it as a 1.2K initially, but I preferred the terminal layout of the 9.0K. The ends are a lot busier, makes for better design. If I could print larger card-stock, I would've gone more proportional with it.
  4. Tell rusty to send me a 12" LVL 2 and I'll send him the print designs. Would be a pretty cool shipping box for goodies like clothes, hats, terminals, etc. I can even make amp shipping boxes for DC amps.
  5. Does it do rated? Of course, it'll hold one shirt. Will hold two shirts if you strap them, lol. I do have to do plastic molding packaging design, I could probably do a woofer. The cone, surround, and gasket as one piece would be the lid to a bowl shaped like a driver with motor and basket intricacies.
  6. If you came in here thinking I really made my own 9.0K then you are nuts (that would've been nice though). But what I did make is damn close. This is for my packaging design class. I had to design a T-shirt, have it printed and then design the packaging of for it and have it made. This is just the prototype, but I'm fairly pleased with how it came out. For the shirt I just reused an old DC audio design I submitted when Rusty had the T-shirt design contest. I might be able to do mounting feet as well, and I need to put a bunch of info on the bottom yet. Thought you guys might like it.
  7. ALPINE doesn't make a Marine PDX-4.150. The head unit was a hand me down from her Toyota FJ. All of our UTV's are 100% Glamis Sand Dunes used only. No rivers, no creeks, streams and next to no rain during the season. They do make a PDX 4.100M, but I guess if its only in the sandbox it should be fine. If it were mine I'd bury it in everything, but I'm in the Midwest. Still an incredible build.
  8. Oh alright, because if you had the boxes for them the rings are at the bottom, under the foam. You'd be surprised how many people just assume they were missing and don't look for them, only to throw the rings away with the box. I've got some 15" rings, but they have subs to match so I can't help ya. I had a spare 10" T2 ring for the longest time, sold it for $35. Have you contacted Rockford yet? Might be able to point you in the right direction.
  9. That's all fine and dandy but how come you didn't splurge for the marine PDX and a marine headunit? Even if you drove half as hard as I do to my ATVs then that amp and head unit will not be safe, even tucked away under the dash. And certainly when you give the RZR a bath its got to be at risk. Regardless, the fiberglass work is incredible. Very nice build.
  10. Shit happens, if its yours then rig it too work best you can. If its someone else's however, you should replace it. Careless installer is still a responsible installer, I would be pissed if someone dropped my shiz and then duct taped it. You can align it with bar clamps, then CA glue best you can.
  11. Some may remember I had these for sale a while ago to help fund my Australia trip, but then I ended up keeping them because well they're what I've always wanted. Well, I'm home now. I dug them out of storage and bought brand new 18" TI baskets just in time to make the biggest mistake of my life. I just got a DUI last week and my life is over. So I'm forced to sell these bad boys and it kills me. You can't get much more motor force than this. The other motor is already boxed up in a rock solid crate. You can see the other crate behind the other motor. It will all be shipped separate. Don't get your hopes up, just because it fits in a flat rate doesn't mean shipping is cheap. These weigh almost 80ibs a piece packaged up, there is no way USPS will accept them. Its $500 plus shipping, and I expect shipping to be around $100 since they're so heavy and its three items. $500 picked up for both motors and baskets. I'm in Illinois 61025. That's hella cheap considering what I paid, and even I got a deal. $500 plus shipping for both motors and both baskets.
  12. Looking good, I have a feeling you've got more pics to share.
  13. Looks like a Predator ate all the aliens. And lol at the random oxygen tank.
  14. :Drooling: You are looking at an old school badass right there. Is it even for sale? And like any coustic amp, they've always got a badass manual too. http://www.coustic.com/support/pdfs/AMP-560.PDF
  15. Its really depends with Db-r. Depends how busy they are, if they have parts in-stock (<This can take forever if they don't) but Spring tends to be very busy anyway. It's anyone's guess, but they are very organized (at least when I've sent stuff to them). You'll get is back as soon as they can.
  16. Even on the limited amount of money I've been able to spend on audio, I've always found a way to get the amps I've dreamed of. But I'd like like to have a US amps VLX400. The surfboard amp (in purple lol), that is one amp I'd love to have my fingers on! Next dream amp on the list is a Cactus Sound K9, and I'll most likely have one eventually. Oh yeah, and anything Audison. I look at their amps at least once a week, maybe someday... I see a lot of people wanting a Soundstream Class A 10.0, I think that's funny because I had one and could not sell the damn thing to save my life. Ended up trading it to Forevrbumpn for softparts and HIDs.
  17. Why did you use the screws that you did? Woodscrews would have looked better, but if you have a specific reason. Kerfing looks good though, did you fiberglass the back side of the kerfing or use 45s?
  18. Nah dude, people gotta work. Sick as hell, it turned out perfect as always. What are you doing around the epicenter?
  19. Car looks good, has the better options, not overdone and its a body style you won't be afraid to drive the piss out of. And I'm sure its fast, certainly a home run in my book. I would've raged on your ol' man if you posted up pics of a vette with lambos. Get her up to 100% and beat on her some.
  20. I finally gave up and started buying tracks off of Itunes. Even traded my zune for an Ipod. I hate em both, but stealing music sucks now. Occasionally I'll grab mix-tapes and pre-releases but my need for high quality audio got the best of me. $1 a song isn't really that bad, and i'll never lose my tracks if any one of my computers crash. RIP limewire.
  21. I used to have one of those Sony's, I put it through hell. Tough little sub. do the JLs, and skip the T-line if you can't make it fit. There are other box designs that are more practical.
