    Well, i don't see him as a dick,, just some one helping out. Don't know if u guys know the saying. If u give a guy a fish he won't be hungry no more, but if you learn him how to fish he will never be hungry?(don't know if it exists in english, but i hope you guys understand what i mean.)

    You shouldn't use Bassboost, and set the gains witha dmm, there is a thread under the amplifier sections that says how to set gains with a DMM.

    I thought they were dual 4 ohm, so 8 ohm total. You need a amp that does 600w RMS at 4 ohm.(never look at peak ratings they are useless.) http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/p_23923_Hifonics_BRZ17001D.aspx This is a decent amp, and doesn't costs that much.(and if u want to upgrade you just need to buy woofers that u can wire down to 1 ohm.) If the aduiopipe does around 600w at 4 ohm it should be good too.

    Well if it does what it's designed for, then it should put out more realtime power.

    Are they single voicecoil or dual voicecoil? IF they are single voicoil buy the amp that does 600w at 4 ohms. If they are dual voicecoil, then you need a amp that does 600w at 1 ohm. EDIT: I agree with roscoe

    Oke, at half, but how did you set it up? By ear? Using a DMM? Using a Oscope? Or did you just turned it up?

    It's a dual voicecoil 2 ohm right? How did u set the gains?How is the bassboost set up? How much do you turn up the HU.

    ><, wait let me rephrase that. i wouldn't trust it with a 4k watt amplifier.(now ok?) EDIT i don't trust a lot of subs with 4k on them DAILY.(aka playing multiple songs without burning up.)

    3Cubes would be better for that amount of power. But i wouldn't trust the LVL4XL on that kind of power.(atleast for daily)

    Yes, but he probably uses the Image Dynamics 6 by 9's. I would do bigger in the front, i just don't like speakers in the back.

    LOL Why tune so high if u're peak is more then 10hz lower?

    Well, it should, or else you really have F***ed up the box. The XL will be louder of the lower power, but will get a tad warmer.
