RED: Silicone the box? i hope you mean first use wood glue and maybe silicone the edges to make sure it's 100% airtight? And you don't need to do that much screws, they only hold the wood together till the glue dries, screws don't really hold the box together. 1 screw per 6 inches should be good enough. BLue: You really don't think the PA amp will do 2300W RMS or close to it? It does less then 2000w at 1 ohm. I should atleast recommend a hifinics amp or a other maxxsonics brand amp, because you're budget is quite low. As a subwoofer i would use a Sundown SA 15 or a Fi SSD 15 (it does costs a bit more but it's a better woofer.) Or a DC Lvl 3 although i don't know how much they cost. I don't want to offend u but if u're systems were something close to SQ you should know a lot more.(You probably meant it didn't needed to sound loud but just sound decent. )

Lol, the guy that said that u needed to remove the top plate doesn't know a lot about woofers... Because it's glued down and the magnets hold it down, it's almost impossible to remove it without destroying it.

Since you have a 5 inch driver you can use pvc tubes where the driver fits in. (and just cut to lenght.)

I thought he had 3 amps. don't know where i got it from. But as you already know they don't do 6.5kw at 14V. And with box rise it will be close to 15kw-16kw. (with all 4 amps) Like Boon just said, 2 250amp alt and 5 batts but i suggested 2 300amp alt and 2-3 batts it would be cheaper i think and more then enough power.

The impedance graph is totally different. On the previous box u had more boxx rise then this one, so more power and more current draw=more voltage drop.

15000W= atleast 2 300amp alternator's and 4-5 huge (xs power) batteries. It all depends on you're goals... and we don't know them.

:facepalm: Sundown subs are good, fi subs are good, dc subs are good, ascendant audio subs are good, t3 audio,digital designs subs are good. Make a choice of what fits in you're price range. Edit: i can hear it.
