  1. Why don't you try the amp in a different setting before shipping it off. Get a DMM and check for voltage. Take a jumper wire from the remote to the positive of the amp. And see if it turns on.
  2. Completly understand that. But he made 3 threads on this and has been answered. Just seems like something weird.
  3. You seem to not know very much about the whole situation. You go balls to the wall with equipment but not know anything about charging voltages or batteries or alternators? Not trying to sound like a ass but just putting that out there. And this is like your 4th thread about this? It's been answered probably dozens of times? What happened to the XS power battery you had?
  4. You could just max the LPF on the amp and use the LPF on the HU. Quite a few people do that. Including me.
  5. It's more than likely not a issue with the alternator or the battery...
  6. I guess it could be. But he would have other issues besides the amp. For example, the car has a hard time starting or doesn't start. Electronics on the car aren't acting right.
  7. Even if it's sanded a thin piece of metal for something like a jack or similar won't work well. It needs to be in a place where it doesn't go into spot welds. True, I was referring to the frame of the body though, was just going through to basic of it. I just took it a bit further haha

  9. Not if the problem is how the amp was installed. Take a picture of the ground location you guys used. Also how was the amp gained?
  10. Low voltage yes. Could be shitty ground. Gain maxed out causing major voltage drop.
  11. DAMN! FOund the issue! That panel is probably spot welded there and the panel is tiny!
  12. That cap is probably hurting more than anything on your electrical. I would remove it. Also what plate did you ground it too? Pictures would help in this case.
  13. So the gains weren't set properly. It doesn't have to mess up right away...
  14. Ok lets say you just went gung hoe on the gains and did whatever. You can potently tear a spider or blow it. We want to know how you set it so we can rule that possibility out.
