  6. What you have there my friend is a case of severe clipping that sent dirty ass power to your sub. This is exactly why everyone always says to set your gains with an o-scope...
  7. Line length is measured down the center of the tunnel for length. average person looking at that is gonna miss the additonal 4 inches on each fold
  8. Spacer is the correct idea, but yer only leaving a 1/4" behind the motor doing a single layer of 3/4" mdf. If the sub has a pole vent of any kind I would at least do 1.5 inch spacer to let the motor assembly breathe a little for cooling purposes. Next thing to address here though is what/where will you be putting this enclosure once it is built. A 1/4 wave with a line length of 159 inches tuned to the FS of that sub is going to be huge...

  20. y split your rca's going into the amp and see if you may have a suspect rca that is on the fritz thats cutting half of the amps input signal...
  21. I have to agree with the separate shop area for wood working and body filler type work. I know the shops are separated but saw dust seems to make it through some odd ass places and the last thing you want is Roy bitching about getting some mdf dust on a project they are doing on the other side.. And on another note, i don't envy you on heating that place. Gas bills just in the 6 bay shop i work at can get retarded when the cold weather snaps in...
