This^ Sounds very familiar. Hard to replace the fuel pump twice on my astro. Have someone turn over the ignition and lay next to the bottom of the car to listen to the fuel pump, and try wacking the tank with a hammer or rubber mallet (carefully) Or hookup a fuel pressure gauge inline with the fuel rail. Some rail's will have a shrader valve of some sort on it, some don't.

Shit, with a welder you can do as many alt's as your want. Only problem is space and power of the motor

Leave ALL factory wiring intact, unless you're running mids/highs off seperate amp, than don't hook mids/highs into factory wiring. Run the 1/0ga seperate from the vehicles electrical system, (only run from alt to batt, batt to batt bank etc etc) Hope this helps EDIT: Be prepared for everyone to tell you to get a fucking AA, or Fi, or DC.

Just get another tranny. No use tearing it apart to replace one gear, when you should rebuild the whole thing while you have it open.

How's the ignition timing on it? Is it set to OE specs or is it off? Plugs were gapped correctly? Wires in all the way? What gas do you put in?
