depends on the amp. i have a p1000 (currently for sale) and it has a birthsheet of 1412 true watts. i have seen some with 1700w. so it really depends on the amp and your electrical.

what you gotta do is try different places and see where YOU like it. try to put them on your a pillar. if you dont like it, then try it on your door panel. if you dont like it, then put it right next to your other tweeter. trial and error my friend
