ell i just turned on an online radio station(through WMP) and too short - blow the whistle. the weird part is, ive NEVER heard a radio station play that, and the waterheads played it 3 times in a row. after that some hurricane chris sh!t came on, how u manage to go from short to hurricane chris is beyond me.... but that was weird as a m()th3r fu(|<erR. ell anyway, i have a question about enclosures. i know that a sub moves more in a sealed enclosure than it does in a ported, which got me thinking, dosent that mean that a bandpass enclosure would put some kind of oposing force on the sub? i know i prolly sound like a total noob, but i figured it was worth asking.

the recomended size for a ported enclosure is 1.8 cubes. 4 cubes is way too big for the space he wants to take up. i did a new design for ya. want the cutout list, or do u want me to modify the old box's shape a lil? this one is tuned to 33 hz, i thought the freq. responce was 40+ not 30+ the cutouts on that are the same size that would be on an actual box.

do you want a new box plan? i did the best with what you gave me, if you dont mind a box thats 15 inches deep, i could make a much better box plan. people, i was working with the measurements i was given. they were strict. i do know what im doing, so dont question that.

i know it effects the sub, but i designed his box, so i wasnt really feeling like doing this long drawn out answer BUT since the critics saw it and questioned it, yes, the port effects your subs, the the frequency responce of your subs is such that playing under 40 hz dosent really make sence. the box is almost perfect for his subs asfar as tuning and Q factor. its not a SPL box but the subs arent too serious, it balences pretty good. the box you were questioning was probly an SPL box.

shoulda just pm'd me.... they will be fine. the port dosent really effect the subs one bit.

check ur magnet and make sure everything is straight. i know that sounds weird but i had the same problem with a mojo.

wire is way too f#$%*@# small. in your case, its like trying to get a cadillac through a dog house, knukonceptz wire kit isnt too exspensive, get one. are your RCA wires beside your main power wire? that might have somehting to do with it.

suspension in the new camaro is way the fuck off wack. WAY too soft. i would say pontiac G8 gt ftmfw. intake and exaust would get it around 400 hp easy. does a quarter in 13.8 factory. EDIT: shares alot of parts with the LS3s
