joobles was the asian driver today.
guess you need a rear view mirror blow through.
oh, and yes, i got second in my SPL class since i got bumped up a class for being too loud lol. then 1st is SQ basic
my mom, yes. but i know it would take a TON for my mom to ask me for money and i feel i would owe it to her. but not all moms are like mine. if my mom was untrustworthy or irresponsible... probably not.
yep, today was my 1st event in the midwest and i gotta say... these guys get loud. no 160s today but several people over 155. and the classes restrict power. i think bills did a 157 off 4000w at ~38hz. fucking amazing. i heard there were 60 cars at this event. must have been the biggest event ive ever been to. met a lot of great people today.
i got my personal best of 151.3. i have a couple pics and a vid but i wasnt on the camera much. too busy bull shitting with everyone. ill get them up tomorrow if people are interested. maybe some of the other guys will post something.
its called "ohms law". amperage x voltage = wattage. so if you have 1000w and the amp is 70% efficient: 1000/14 = 71.4/.70 = 102. so your amp needs 102amps to play full tilt. make sense?
rockford, kicker, pioneer. they all make shallows. ive seen a lot of people ask about these subs and there doesnt seem to be much difference between them. but i have only heard the pioneers. they sounded pretty good.
impedance is the resistance of flow in AC. when you use the DMM its sends a DC charge into the wire to get a resistance reading. the 2 are very different. this is kind of advanced stuff. dont rack your brain about it too much. i was just letting you know that you shouldnt worry about having too much power.
if the amp is rated at 2ohm, you shouldnt go under that. i have never used kicker amps so i dont know how picky they are. 2x-3x rise is normal, so that 1.34ohm can still be over 3ohms. that doesnt make it safe for a 2ohm amp though.
