how big were the pods? remember these speakers are made for IB so they need a large pod. just make some little enclosure around the speaker and it will be too much pressure for the cone to move.

sealed is a lot easier but ya, you can port a door pod, the the exact same concept as a sub box. you obviously dont tune the thing at 30hz though.

ill tell you then to help. 270xp alt, kinetic 1800 and two 3100s, and a NGT (deka) G31. everyone knows sundown amps are stable to .5ohm. i even ran a pair strapped at .5ohm and they performed beautifully. and they are not power hungry for their class. no it wont. at half volume you might be surprised at how much less power the amp makes. when i had voltage drop it wouldnt happen until the last 3-5 notches on the volume. at 45, very little drop, at 50 i saw 12v. OP, what ohm load are you going to run them at? at 1ohm i think you will be ok. half ohm... eeehhhh, no. i mean you could... but i wouldnt like where the voltage would be at. the 2 battery per amp idea is useless. and i mean that because they will all be connected in some way, they all go back to the alt at least. so you really wont have them separate. SO, you should have them all connected together in the back to help the flow between them. hope that helps.

actually i believe its 10amps. but thats what the alt is for! charging batteries lol.

look at my electrical \/ i have 2 crescendo 3ks at .5ohm. i believe i still need to turn them up a decent amount but so far i didnt drop below 14v. i believe you will be in the safe zone.

check the amps and make sure they turn off when you shut down the car. make sure you dont have a short somewhere, it could cause a fire. double check wiring behind the HU. some wire harnesses with the door chime will drain the battery just because they were poorly made.

why is gods name do you think you need 12awg wire for a remote turn on from the HU?

i usually just use a 0db 42hz tone and turn it up a little more. so instead of 45v i go to 50v. it gives you the same result.

lol its quieter. so since most songs dont have a straight 0db tone in them, you tune with a lower signal (quieter tone) and it will compensate for the lower signal from music. so now you have more output daily. probably going to want to turn it down a few notches on a 0db burp though.

do not mix sub sizes.

be careful what you cut away. take out too much and the seats will sag on one ens, so each passenger will be falling toward the box.

look up the "NCH tone generator" i DLed it free and you can make it do whatever frequency you want at any DB level. the program stops working after so long but just delete it and redownload and its good again. you DL mixpad at the same time. it takes the file from the tone generator and makes it useable as an mp3.

a sealed box that is THAT leaky wouldn't be a sealed box. but an IB setup shouldnt be as loud and surely wont handle as much power, mechanically. this guy... "blackedout" or something, on here, has done IB out of his trunk with memphis subs. he would be the only guy i know to ask.

price range for the amp? what ohm are the coils? 32hz for the box will sound good.
