    ok so an update.. built a few boxes now and still the loudest ive gotten was a 146 at 41 hz with a box that 4 cubes at 38hz and 78 square inchs of port im going to try 4.8 cubes at 39 hz with 106 square inches of port and hope for that 150 mark!! few pics of boxes and such i went witht he pink tap to match the subs!! no vids yet tho!

    take it off then just keep it so you can flip it down and fold it up for when you want to seat people in the back

    alright... so when i go to assemble this box.. i realize i forgot to get the back of the box cut... i dont have enough birch to so it would it be a bad idea to use MDF for the back panel of the box?

    well... ill have a triple baffle ( once sub holes are cut there isnt much left to it) ill be screwing and using lots of glue and braces i dont mind the smell of it... if it bugs me ill throw an air freshner infront of the port!

    it seems to be alot more rigid then the mdf which is good

    lol all my homedepot carries is 5 ply so.. thats what it was!!!

    does it split easy even with pre drilling? i got a nice deal on some 5 ply bitch ply i couldent pass up will be assembling tomorrow will 5 ply birch be strong enough?

    id get a new basket ...... there only what 30$ maybe if its a cast basket... youll weld it and i guarantee it will crack again because cast gets brittle after its welded unless its cooled properly

    dont use ply wood!!!!!! and if your doin subs up.... do subs up port BACK i trie dmy 18 sub up port into cabin and it didnt sound good so i turned it around... worrrrllllddd of differance
