  1. I like this idea. Of the subs you have listed, the R's.
  2. Seal all the holes in the door as much as possible. For large holes, I have used tin, sheet metal, and plexiglass screwed it to the door. Then cover the whole door with closed cell foam to stop panel squeak and seal it that little bit extra. Mine
  3. Does a 100w Jensen EQ count? lol My first amps were the RF punch 150 and punch 45.
  4. LOL, I have countless items epoxied together in my truck too man. I would contact a glass repair shop and see how it was held in before your little, um... accident.
  5. LMAO. Truth! A nice romantic hair trick. Turn the subs off, up the midbass a little, and let her pick the songs.
  6. Cant believe my state has a goose egg. Got to change that. Sir-Lancelot South Carolina 29501, Florence Leader 50MHz Oscilloscope Bring beer or bourbon.
  7. You really need a crossover that will bandpass. Either a HU, external, or even an amp with XO controls like the sundown. I prefer the HU, easier to dial it in while in the driver seat!
  8. IMO a musical sub is one that plays pretty flat in the subbass region and does not have that big peak in frequency. Take a BTL for example, yes it can and does sound really good but by design it peaks higher and is designed to get louder at certain frequencies. I think musical and can play music are two different things.
  9. All I ever use now. OFC copper $121 for 50ft. I was not impressed with the CCA from Knu. Jacket melted with engine heat on my buddy's car. That is not good! I would not put that crap in my truck. Welding Supply
  10. What amp do you have??? its just a shitty little dual amp. im using it till i can get another better amp I would assume it is also 2 ohm stable per channel, I would suggest this set for under 100 bucks http://www.woofersetc.com/p-6952-rsd65cs-phoenix-gold-65-component-speaker-system.aspx I was just going to link those. Best bang for the buck at that price point.
  11. Crunch owners, you know you know you want that new DC or SD amp. Sell me your amp!
  12. All these new amps coming out, I know someone wants to upgrade.! Sell me your amp!
  13. Looking to buy gp3k pro. No junk or repair projects please. Thanks.
  14. I think you just had a bad first experience man. I spend a shit ton of money on Amazon. In 2010 we bought 90% of my childrens Christmas, lots of Car Audio stuff, Parts for my Yukon, 4 Kinetik batteries, etc. All have been excellent transactions and the prices are usually the best I have found. That said I didnt get my 2 PS3's for $39.99 each Damn it! lol
  15. You wont know until Sundown put up some specs on them. If its in your budget get some horns and a couple of BADASS midbass. If not, wait on Sundown to give the specs and try to find a supertweeter to match. The Selenium ST's all need to be crossed over really high, like 5000hz if you put any power on them or they sound like shit! Finding a good mid to play up that high and still have midbass is the challenge when going with pro audio. They just dont make tweeters that are that loud and play low. Most PA set ups I hear have a big gap up high and in the midbass. Is what it is. If you are dead set on the Sundown mids, you are going to have to wait on the specs.
