As stated before if you get an actual 2 channel amp, you can but it needs to be stable to whatever ohm load you will be putting each channel on. You won't hurt the woofer. I would suggest that you stick with a 1 channel amp.

Damn he hit him so hard they both did back flips.

Chocolate chip bacon beer waffles sounds amazing! -
I have the ones that you have and I can say that they sound pretty damn good. Good midbass and clear highs. The highs aren't harsh either. I think you will like them because they are definitely worth it.

I have the same damn problem with my ipod touch 3g. Only it only gives me that code with songs I downloaded from this site. It doesn't do it with songs I ripped form cds or songs I bought off itunes. I feel your pain. It frustrating as f#%k. You could try resetting the deck too. Don't know if you did but I didn't see that you did in your original post.

I tried to imbed this but it isn't working. I thought this was hilarious. Disclaimer: It has some cussing in it so if you don't like that then you probably shouldn't watch it. Sorry if its a re-post.

I will definitely do that. Thanks for the help man! Hopefully it fixes it.

Damnit...So am I stuck with this low ass 11.9.

The problem is that I just put a new stock replacement in about a year ago and I haven't had any problems with it since then. Damn, I didn't know so many people had this problem. I guess once the funds are available I will just get a high output alt and I definitely won't have any voltage issues then.
-
No, stock alt. Saving up for aftermarket one.

This I am not completely sure of since my voltmeter only comes on when the head unit turns on. Also currently I can't access a DMM to test it. 1991 Honda Accord.

I have a strange voltage problem. When I pull up at a stop light playing music with about 1/4 volume my voltage sometimes reads about 11.9 volts at my 4 channel amp. When I hit the highway it goes up to about 13.5 volts, which I would expect, but what I don't understand is when I put my car in park and let it idle the voltage goes up to 13.5 and I can go full tilt and it only drops to about 13.4. I don't really understand how idling at a stop light is different than idling with my car in park. Hopefully someone can help me understand why this is happening. By the way my equipment is listed in my signature. Thanks, Jake

When your system draws more amperage than your alternator and starting battery can support is when you need a second battery.

It would probably be a good idea if you read through This.
