first off its Lumar They prolly persuaded you because of the laws that are in your state (dont know what yours are) Techinically they can not warranty any film if it is illegal in the state. At my shop we do tint over tint all day any day. BUT it can not be warrantied. No if the same shop is putting both layers on then they might warranty it. Other wise there should be no problem with doing it if both are applied in a quality fashion. If you got anymore questions let me know I can help you with almost anything needed about tint

normally there is no 10% tint. There is 15% and 20% besides the 5%. You can layer tint but it will only looks as good as the first job put down since thats whats going to be seen. I have done it plenty of time. Theres really no big deal with doing it.

well in CA techinically you have to have something reflective so they could pull you over. If you really cared about that then you could put a piece of red reflective tape on you bumber of someting but worse comes to worse it prolly just a fix it ticket

heres an update on mine... the dane (blk/wht) is about 7.5 months old, wieghs 110 lbs and is almost 33" to the shoulder the bernard is about 7 months and prolly weighs around 95lbs but is getting real thick.

you would be surprised. I have 35% on my whole windshield and I can see everything perfectly fine at night. I have had people sit in my car and not even notice that it is tinted. I also had dbl 5% on the rest of the windows as well

I know its bad but that would be kinda funny to see...would definitly be fucked up though
