From my tests 99% of the time a peaky box comes from low power I have seen it 100 times adding power (watts) takes the peakness away So you can ether change the box or add power to fix

you do know you dont have to have your deck set to the point of almost clipping??? you say it starts making your mids go nuts at vol 20 set everything to vol 19 you know your not clipping at the deck....... you can set deck volume anywhere you please as long as its not clipping
