the first thing i would do if you really wanna keep the cap, is majorly shorten the + wires between it and the amp they look reallllly long....but over it can be a very nice setup

i dont do it to turn it off all the time, i only use it in emergencies like when you see the po-lice nearby and dont have time to wait 4 secs while holding the off button on the HU...they are assholes when it comes to noise ordinances...

Is it bad to put a rocker switch in the remote wire to turn it off quickly? Ive always had one inline for when the po-pos roll by and ive never had problems but i was just curious.
