  1. yeah that one isnt bad. but this one is more versatile. tho not quite as easy to use. but once you know what you're lookin at, you're fine. and it'll do square ports and round ports.
  2. a nice little program there's a formula, but to do it on paper would take a while longer.
  3. yeah i agree. could be the same size, just made to fit better in the truck and have the port designed into it. not sure how deep the subs are, but the port could come out the top of it. or on each side. up to you if you wanna give it a shot. but if you're afraid of messing up the box, then you may wanna leave it sealed. also...while some subs can be put in ported and sealed boxes, some are only recommended for sealed and some are recommended for ported. so possibly his subs might be better off in the sealed box
  4. ok i got the link...not sure if that's gonna change much tho
  5. hmmmm...not sure how well this is gonna work. i just estimated and used dimensions of 12x12x15 (not including wood measurements) to get 1.25 cubes of air in each chamber. so this says you'll need a port size of 3 inches high, 1.5 inches wide, and 10 inches long. that'll tune it to 34.5 hz. BUT...that's going to take away from the volume inside the box. so that'll only give each chamber 1.22 cubes of air after port displacement. not sure how that'd sound, since i'm not sure how much air space those subs recommend. but if you wanna try it out, it wouldnt be too hard to patch the hole back up i guess
  6. ahhhh ok. i'm followin you know. thought you were wanting to change the port that was on it. hmmm...may not be possible. but lemme see if i can check it out
  7. if it's a premade box with a port in it, then it's already tuned to some number. got the length width and heighth of the port by chance? i can find what it's tuned to
  8. is it going to be rebuilt? if not...dimensions of a single chamber? if yes and you're gonna use a common chamber, dimensions of that one?
