  1. you, james, and chevyboy have that in common then lol. but to the OP, i second police auctions. i've heard of some damn nice deals coming from them. have you tried some local used dealers? could find something there too.
  2. i dont. just curious as to why you always seem rubbed the wrong way. maybe you just need a hug?
  3. why are 90% of your texts dick texts?
  4. i'll get it eventually, but it'll be on PC
  5. i might try to jump the ignition, but i dno if i wanna touch the starter itself besides a tap or 3. just cuz. i dont have funds to fix anything else on there lol. i'll give it a tap...but if anything i'm just gonna junkyard one. hope you didnt mess yours up too much tho
  6. funny you say that...mine just went out today (or so i think it is the starter...i'm having the exact same problems you are) and know what? it's raining out. has been all day, but decided to call it quits midway through it. i've done some research, but the clean contacts is something new i havent seen before. gonna try tapping it tomorrow and jumping it and see if it starts, so i cant say if mine will stay running yet or die like yours does. but...i have a feeling i'm gonna have to get a new one at a junk yard. so we'll see
  7. if i was steve i personally wouldnt wanna sell out doing energy drink commercials. if there's so many energy drinks out there...we'd just blend in with the rest. nifty idea, but i dont see it catching honestly
  8. the box looks soooo much better now. i hope the new one (whenever it may come) follows these guidlines. very clean
  9. i think it takes a lot of pressure for the air to actually go through the wood anyways. and if it's ported...all the pressure is going out of the port instead. not pent up inside the box. always good to take precautions...but i have never bothered with it. it wouldnt be audible anyways unless there was a leak in a corner somewhere
  10. you'd have to do it in a non wall in that case 24 12's is more interesting. MUCH more unique. and i'd like to watch the build
  11. i wouldnt use 5 cubes per sub. i'd go smaller. i'm personally using 4 cubes per 18 in my car atm.
  12. yeah same here. i HATE pov movies. or 'homemade' ones. make me sick to my stomach. it looks scary...and 'supernatural' but if it's anything like blair witch or...whatever that one was in new york with that alien terrorizing everything (as far as filming goes) then i wont be seeing it.
  13. you're either full of shit...or into theatre. which theatre people pick EVERY movie apart and nothing is good to them anymore. i like to get into movies and that one looks pretty badass. ima have to see it. good horror movies = FTW!!
  14. think along the lines of SOTM. that's where i see SMD partners mostthis is badass regardless
  15. YES left 4 dead i forgot. fuuuun multiplayer. fallout 3 is good, but wasnt TOO fun for TOO long. lots of walking around looking for stuff. and crysis is almost considered a tool more than a game since it was so poorly coded. they coulda done a lot to help it run on a wider range of machines. the second one is a lil better in that aspect.
  16. that is impossible to answer. hundreds of variables to consider. btw...where at in ohio are you from? i'm right by cincy
  17. ^^ same here but i dont hate it. it is what it is. i should have a couple of those certs by the end of this semester if all goes well. at least a windows cert. forget the other
  18. true that. just to hold the wood together while it dries why?? why let the glue dry THEN screw it together? that's counter productive. glue, then screw while the glue is wet. makes a TIGHT hold while the glue dries. screwing after the glue is dry is not necessary also if you use enough glue you'll already be air tight but i always silicone it on the inside really good just to be safe anyways.
  19. i like this one. good numbers all around. no need to tune under 35 hz either.
  20. in school for information technology, trying to lead towards computer programming. have potential for a hardware/software support job, but it's an externship and no real possibility of a job stupid economy
  21. and just stop typing altogether you were right about the hits. 300 to 7k+ in one days worth lol
  22. yeah i'd redesign the port. doesnt have to be 12" wide. you can maintain the same port area, just redo the dimensions. and yeah...i'd make it bend once and just go the length of the back wall. you may want to reposition the sub as well to keep it as far away from the port opening as you can
  23. they can be close, or they can be way off. just depends how much they cranked their knob on it
  24. port is too thin imo. port noise is not very friendly
