  1. shouldnt be a problem. RE calc isnt 100%, but it's fairly close. then with the slot port, just move it to the middle when building it. EDIT: what will be going in the box? and what tuning are you looking to get?
  2. ah it's made from visual basic, so it will only work on windows
  3. some corners may be a lil tricky. in that case just pull from a different corner.....
  4. they are being replaced with the new X8 in the future
  5. ........dont bump topics like that either. you JUST posted it a minute ago. everyone isnt going to flock to your post, and it's not going to fall 100 pages behind. give it a while
  6. ? that should work for just about any box calculator. you use the dimensions to make the box big enough to fit the appropriate number/size of speakers. but check out my calculator the link to download is in my sig. it will do everthing you're looking to do
  7. got it all done! got 2 layers everywhere except the thin spots around the window which weren't as necessary. i havent stood outside the car while it's playing to see if there's a difference yet, but i do have this: definitely sounds more solid. i will be going to second skin for more deadening for sure
  8. got my pack of SS installed. stuff is NIIIIICE! very nice quality. here's some pics, and a tiny comparison vid at the end ballin! took the panel off first. probably will paint it black before it goes back on all the areas i have to cover took the clips to this off to make it a lil easier
  9. i like it bare and coated. it's damn sexy no matter how you look at it. damn! i want a 1440x900 resolution for a nice wallpaper
  10. is it really that big of a deal? really? /thread
  11. it's my 24th if his 21st is anything like mine...you might not hear from him for a couple days lol
  12. you sooooons of bitches! almost a month and no posts??? i'm disappointed. REAL disappointed. guess i'll keep myself entertained then!!
  13. at some points your steering wheel was moving more than the tape lol
  14. DEFINITELY no stupid signs....like seriously... i wanna call and ask a question if i'm off work haha it'd be a good one...dont think ima be off tho
  15. i started off with a jewelry store card. my friends uncle worked there, so i got a discount on top of that got some jewerly here n there. then got a best buy card. then a tire discounters for some tires for my old 20's. i dont use those 3 anymore. now i have 2 general credit cards that i pay on, and had a car payment. my score is in the low to mid 700's as well now. it does take a while tho
  16. ridiculous in a good way? cuz that'd be a hell of an adrenaline rush to think you're just gonna fly off the edge of the building lol they have a stratosphere restaurant too as well right? or is that somewhere in cali?
  17. i mean...he's ok and all. sometimes i have to wait like...a half hour or something for a reply and that just doesnt sit well with me jk! (i'd have his babies if i could) (no homo)
  18. keep it as far from the port opening as possible
  19. yeah. and make sure it's sealed pretty good too. and mounted to the box pretty well. you dont want the pressure to push the port out or somethin
  20. that sounds a bit better as long as you have enough room for it
  21. how do you figure? one 4" port = 12.56 sq inches. keep in mind tho that they're more efficient than a slot port, so the port area does not necessarily need to be 12-16 sq inches per cube (i use 12-16 sq inches)
  22. i also think it's kind of a small port for 2 cubes of volume. i'm not very familiar with aero ports, but some say to use 1 4" port per every cubic foot, and i believe it was ray that said he uses a 6" port for every cubic foot. just as an idea what to go by.
  23. nice find i like watching things like that
  24. with ~2k per sub he wont need the level 5's. unless he steps up his power as well. the BTL can also handle more power but will play fine on 2k. either sub imo is a good way to go
