    With my experience. You need lots of cone and lots of power if you tune low and want to move crazy air. Your box is gonna sound like deer shit if you have 2 xplod 12's on a 200 watt amp trying to play 23hz.

    The kicker 2500's are 2 ohm stable. Which would be PERFECT for your xl.

    Ok. Well I'll tell you this now, you're not gonna find a big amp that does 2500 at 2 ohms if you want dc, etc for $400. The kicker amp is a great amp with good power.
