  1. The highroll surrounds are bad ass. Just putting it out there.
  2. A 7,5k only does 2200 at 4ohms. Just get a 2k and run it at 1 ohm and save yourself some money. But I can see your stuck in your ways so, good luck on getting loud.
  3. Well the money you waste trying to find 3k at 4ohms could go towards a new alt.
  4. Three tens with d1.4 voice coils could wire to .97ohms. Just saying. You want to be loud, why wire to 4 ohms?
  5. I had a 500 on my 3/0. So maybe a 400. I got mine here. http://www.donrowe.com/accessories/fuse_anl.html
  6. Take the whole week, man. Get better. I may be hitting you up for some box input.
  7. Off topic, but full cut or scope?
  8. I would try the tweeter right above the window controls, it looks wide enough.
  9. Dude, put fuses in. One little short in that 2/0 and poof....
  10. You should get to hear some good SQ stuff. Focal and Helix were popular among the locals where I was in Germany. And Hertz/Audison is Italian.
  11. A little follow up for you guys. With my door panels off, it is a little quieter with the windows down, but a little LOUDER windows up. When I took out my midrange, it got quieter again. The whole door is covered in deadener except for small openings at the bottom where my midbass goes, and now the hole where the midrange are. These notes are only in relation to the ear-o-meter, not TL. But the difference is noticeable, especially the increase with the windows up. Only thing I can think is the air is getting out somewhere, so in a sense it would be like cheating, in a comp. Kind of like cracking a window open.
  12. I wasn't very impressed with the audio scene in Germany or Italy, bro. There are a lot of clean and fancy installs, but not a real SPL competition scene. Oh, and prices at the local shops are just retarded. Where you gonna be stationed?
  13. Eastern Religious Studies sucks balls. I'm contemplating slitting my wrists. 2 hours to go.

  14. Different question now. I only going to be able to use one of the midrange for now. Will anything be damaged by running the crossover with only a tweeter hooked up to it?
  15. What are you waiting for? Get them bitches installed
  16. I always liked the sound of midbass down low, midrange near the top of the door, and tweets in the pillar. All about evenly spaced from eachother. I think it comes down to preference, though. I run 3-way, and have my tweets and midbass low on the door, and midrange high on the door, but like the sound better from the way I said before. Edit: I don't know much about staging and imaging or real SQ stuff, just what my ear likes.
  17. Well, we do know one thing, each set will see between 175 and 250 watts. And yes, Brian, the mids are bandpassed.
  18. I lived there for 6 1/2 years. Its a year of drivers training, and around $3000 (US) to get licensed.
  19. 500 watts per door
  20. Speed limit had nothing to do with the retard driving drunk. I will say this, in Germany there are portions of the Autbahn that have no speed limit. There are less accidents there than we have here with our 65-70mph limits. Now in town, they have very low speed limits (30km/h), which makes for almost zero in town accidents (minus snow and ice related stuff).
  21. Each speaker reads 3.7ohms. Whatever, i'll just hook them up and dd-1 the amp.
  22. It is a 3-way set, but there are seperate crossovers for the midbass, and the tweeter/midrange.
  23. So, in plain English, are you saying its a waste of time to wire these together and put the dmm on them? I'll be back in an hour or so.
