    No chance. The amp is right next to my rear batts, grounded to the negative buss bar. I need to check the real time load on each channel, could be a comp crossover issue.

    Could it be a fault with one of the component crossovers? Is there a way to check the ohm load at each channel in real time with music playing?

    Its been set with the DD-1 and scope, Ray. And, I was playing it at 28/35, its scoped at 34/35.

    Unless there's a problem with one or more of the crossovers in the components.

    Only two comp sets. So each channel has a single crossover w/speakers hooked up.

    4ohms per channel This isn't the first time its done this. But, this is the first time since then I've played music for more than a few minutes at a time.

    Took a little drive today and the damn thing keeps overheating. 25 minutes, not even full volume, and it turns off. Wait 10 minutes, it turns back on but goes back off in a few minutes. I know amps get warm in warm weather, but seriously, this is an expensive 4-channel I can't even play for half an hour? Its in the trunk and but I put a fan back there with it. I should be able to run this thing maxed out for more than 25 minutes at a time.

    There should be more shows in the mountains lol. In my car, you can "feel" it more when its cold, but its definitely not as "loud". Science.

    If you set it with a tone at -15, then play a song that peaks at -5, it is gonna be clipped. I set my gain using the -10 track and the bass knob at 3/4. Now with Decaf songs, I only turn the the knob to around half. Some quiet recordings I can turn the knob all the way up. You'll get the hang of it.

    You're probably playing music recorder higher than that. Set it at -5. Especially if you play Decaf.

    Instead of splitting the wire where your problem is, run two wires from the amp. Two each from the positive and negative speaker terminals, so each sub gets its own wire. It will create the same ohm load.

    When we lived in europe, we had summer house about 1.5 hours away from city. House was right next to forest, in the forest we found one spot where tree's were HUGE while rest of the tree's in the forest were norma sizel. What was funny and interesting about it is that it had this like blue glow to it, kind of hard to explain. There are many thing that can be explained, but some are like Chemical spill or dump site
