    Thats what I thought, such a big change from only one click on the volume. Oh well, tearing it all out anyway, clean slate time. Just gotta find a good place to get my doors redone.

    Set gain with the -5 tone, but i'm not sure what the db drag cd level is. So you could be right, because it is fine on music up to volume 33.

    I'm about to pull everything out to build a new box anyway, so ill be sure to check the voice coils. Outside connections are all good. Its just one of those "start from scratch" things I guess.

    Sub fires forward, box pushed all the way back in teh trunk. Happened on 32, 33, 34hz, then I stopped because I don't want to hurt it. Box tuning is 35, if thats relevant.

    Definitely not an illusion. I was looking right at it. Volume 30=nice excursion and clean sound, volume 31=sucked in, lost output, shitty sound.

    My deck and gains are set with DD-1 at volume 33 of my headunit, yada, yada. Its done right. I was playing around with some tones today, and with the volume at 30 all was fine. But at volume 31, the sub kind of sucked in (instead of the normal pushing out). Don't know how else to explain it LOL. Of course output was less and it sounded shitty, but no bottoming out. I did not do it over and over to figure out, not worth risking damage to the sub. What is happening?

    I don't even know if they exist. Anybody ever see adapter plates from 6x8 to 6.5, that also have a spot for a separate tweeter? It would be a tight fit, hell, might not fit at all. But, doesn't hurt to ask.

    Let the neighbor kid borrow my PS3 controller to play Black Ops with his friend. One condition was that he had to let me use his USB cable to re-sync it to my console when done. He brought the controller back, not the cable. Said he would bring it and never did. I has no video games FML.

    Adam, you MUST trust the older guys on this one. Most of us been there, done that. Its not like you can't talk on the phone every night, right? Then, when you see her on week 4, you have money for a great night or three out, and all the late night fun that comes with it. Pay attention to her 'greed' level though. Don't let her pull that "buy me this, you can afford it" bullshit. Not judging your girl, don't know her, but women are women.
