  1. I would wait for batteries but that's just me. Can you wire to a higher ohm load until you get more electrical?
  2. I'm serious. My facepalm reply was to the guy above your post.
  3. 'Larry Bird' is questionable.
  4. Lots of red on audacity, but no flat spots on wmp. 'Michael Phelps' is loud as fuck, 34hz @ -6 db.
  5. Is there a facepalm smiley?
  6. Thinking about using my DD in the Mini. Hatch are is very small, would it work? Or suck? LOL
  7. Is it clean? Or clipped to all hell?

  9. Whats the output of the S4? DD site is down right now.
  10. Variety guy has saz3000d's for 500 shipped.
  11. Could do without the 45's innside, but looks pretty good. Also might want to consider a second baffle.
  12. Nice. Thought about doing it but im feeling lazy LOL.
  13. I mean, if my math is wrong OP, please correct me.
  14. That number is the total length of the actual cut pieces, minus the baffle, turning the corner, and doesn't take into consideration the .75" thickness of port piece one.
  15. The hair, huh? Its not that wild bro. On topic, show looks pretty sweet.
  16. I ignore the physical port length on the calculator. Paper and pencil and numbers in my head is the most accurate way.
  17. baffle 1.5"+ port piece 15.75"+ turn the port corner 3"+ thickness of first port .75"+ 13" = 34" port Remember, you measure down the middle of the port.
  18. Draw a picture, makes it easier to visualize. baffle 1.5"+ port piece 15.75"+ port 3"+ back wall .75"= box depth 21"
  19. DC's prefer smaller boxes. I would say to shrink it down to around 2-2.1 cubes net. Also, bracing and 45's don't take up as much space as you might think.
  20. Correction, there are midbass drivers under the seats. Factory 6-channel amp in rear quarter panel driver side. So, I guess I would need to tap the speaker wires before the factory amp. Now, just need to identify wire colors.
  21. Exactly. It is amplified. Just want to add a substage, no factory subs. The factory mids and highs are pretty clean, so i'll leave them be for now. Upon further research, the radio is integrated with other systems in the car, so an aftermarket deck is not something I want to fuck with.
  22. I want to add a sub to my Mini. Its a 2011 Countryman S with the Harmon Kardon system. I would like to do an aftermarket dash, but I;m having no luck finding dash kits. So, if I wanted to just add a sub amplifier, where would I start looking? Line converter? Where would I tap the speaker wires? Finding diagrams is a PITA, every search I do comes up with Cooper stuff, and i'm sure my car's a little different.
