I used sketchup. I created an awesome box for a '92 Chevy Extended cab longbed pickup (don't ask why I chose it, I just did). Outer dimensions: Heighth: 34" Width: 60" Depth: 96" It's a semi-wall blowthrough type box (It's more than double the height of the bed for that year model). I started at 9 and finished at 10:30. Like I said, I was bored. Really bored. Oh, and my print screen doesn't work, so I took photos instead. EDIT: It was designed around some DC LVL5 18"s.

Good job man. Now what broke? LOL, JK. But whoever said something always breaks was somewhat correct. My moms (same as yours, just stock and a diff color) Tires gave out (no joke) 1 month after she paid it off. Then again, she had almost 100K on them.

Use foil and fiberglass the inside. Do a dozen or so layers (or more) and use MDF on the front baffle. Do it right and you could fit two 18"s (with a little creativity).

Here's a fun game: Get a really large cap or 3 and isolate the exterior metal from everything else. Then attach the cap to the metal and when the alarm goes off, you get to find a deep fried thief! Sounds fun huh? Sorry to thredjack.

Good job. To tell you the truth, I only took accounting because I had to have a class that period (Private High School FTL) and Accounting was all that wasn't full (25 student class llimits FTL). But I'm glad I took it, it's actually pretty good.

Take a businiess and accounting class. They'll help (I'm in an accounting class now). That's the first step.

PB truck vid This is a vid of my truck. It's not much because it was filmed at night, but I tried to stay focused on the odomer so you could see just how bad I "granny-geared" it. It's pretty loud. The exhaust causes some distortion. And the windows were rolled up and the interior (except the doors) is deadened. EDIT: forgot ot mention, the odometer is the big needle on the left (it's stock) and the speedometer is on the right. I never passed 2K rpm (out of 4K, which is the limit, with these heads anyway).

The hard drive was not meant for 24/7 use. Hard drives for regular computers were designed to take the strain of on/off operation. Running a HDD 24/7, even if it's not spinning, will cause it to fail earlier. If you want to run it 24/7, get a server hard drive. They were meant to run continuously. there's nothing wrong with running it 24/7, it just hurts your hard drive. It will still last a long time, just not as long as it would turning it off and on. Ex.: You leave your computer running 24/7 and the HDD only last 9,000 hours. It likely would have lasted 10,000 hours if you had shut it down. It shouldn't matter too much unless you keep a lot of files on your drive.

Yeah. That's what I did. Worked well for me. I set mine to backup every week. But I believe it will go down to 1 day.

XP and Vista both have an auto backup program. It's not hard to use, but doesn't come with the initial software (I downloaded it free from the Microsoft website). I don't know if one's included or not. RAID protects you data against HDD failure (they fail after so many hours). If one crashes, the system will boot with the bad one still in place and should (I repeat, should) warn you if one fails.

I used one because I got it free (Airaid was giving them away with their cold air intakes a while ago). They work on mine because fuel is injected in at the TB. I noticed more power available, but my MPG's just stayed the same.
