  3. i didnt see any pricing on the Flex wiring. have yall posted anything on that yet?
  4. i was reading forever bumpins tutorial on tlines. he says to find the SD/cone area of the sub to measure the outside of the surround across. say 11.5 inches. then divide by two to get radius and do R^2(3.14). i was looking at DC's website and they say the SD of the level 3 12 is 494cm^2. when the formula that he gave only comes out to 103.82 in^2 which is only 263.7 cm^2. so what measurement should i use? the one from the DC website? or what i just calculated. i wanted to use my Alpine type r in a tLine just for practice. but i wanted to make one for the DC since they're numbers were posted on the website. im just trying to understand the concept before i waste time a money on a box like this.
  5. wish i had some extra cash! this is a good deal hope yall do some stuff for christmas

  10. you could just buy a 1/0 reducer and use it. thats something youd have to talk to him about. i dont know the pricing he does.

  16. the only time i would recomend using a pre fab is if your not trying to go ape shit on your vehicle. if you just want something that will make noise and sound halfway decent then go for it
  17. you can probly count on me taking advantage of this. get my birthday money today
  18. go to caraudioclassifieds.org and scroll down to the "toolmaker" section. i believe you have to call him
  19. im pretty sure that you should gain. allowing more current to flow can either help give more actual power to your amps so on paper you should she increases. plus they're sexy as hell. a guy i know used the b3500 and couldnt get all the power because his 1/0 was starving the amp. switched to dual inputs and could play his system louder for longer.
  20. those look sexy! i cant wait for my custom 18' baskets for my level 3's
  21. im not sure that he knows NOTHING about car audio. i dont know the guy but DC isnt exactly the most popular brand but it is a very good brand. I mean unless someone told this guy to buy them, he probably does know a little bit about it... just what im reading. So i would think he would know that a prefab probably isnt the best bet. But again i dont know the guy. he was told about DC. im going to get everything set straight
