  1. Alright guys, I need a good deal on some 1/0. Where should I look? Prefer OFC...but I guess it isn't 100% necessary....its only 900 watts.
  2. I'm just gonna do it :/ hopefully I can have her playin by the end of this summer. 4 18s on 900 watts. Ftw.
  3. Matt....lol I seriously might just do that. Gonna be sorta weird, though...900 watt wall ftw!!!
  4. Good to hear, sicco. And ya, when the build is done, the electrical will consist of 2 d3100s and a mechman 270. And as long as its in the 50s, I will be happy with it.
  5. They are D2s. Running 2 on half power may be a possibility......but I doubt it. All depends on how the money is lookin.
  6. (1) DC 5k. (4) DC Level 4 18"s w/ Level 5 coils. This is the last time this amp and these woofers will see light for at least another year. I'm hoping to have the build completed next summer. Still gotta get batteries, alternator, wiring, box materials, etc.. HUGE shoutout to corona_jeff for hooking me up with everything. PM him for all your DC Audio needs. Thanks, Jeff. Also a big shoutout to all the guys at DC...Rusty, Rob, Ana...you guys are awesome.
  7. Are you asking which sub we recommend? There are several options...DC level 4 comes to mind.
  8. I'd like to see any one of those, man....damn But if I had to choose....I would say either option 4 or 5.
  9. It wont do shit at idle. When it comes to alternators, you get what you pay for.
  10. PR's!! Haha, I had 2 of the newer 15" PRs in my first system. I loved em. Got "loud" on 500 watts.......I've seen the newer ones go for $80ish bucks online. These are the older version. They probably paid a ton to a shop to buy em...so don't go off of what they paid for them. Listen to em and decide from there. If you're friend is looking for some entry-level cheap decent bass...I would grab em....for the right price of course.
  11. They don't sell all the extra shit. If they did, I would definitely get it there.
  12. Working at Best Buy does have it's benefits. I'm getting a Viper 5901 this weekend for $183...can't beat that. Anyways, I'm going to be installing it in my 1998 Ford Expedition. I was wondering what kind of bypass unit (if I even need one) I will need to purchase, and where to purchase it from. The truck has remote lock/unlock,and I'm pretty sure it has some worthless factory alarm. I also wanted to get the glass-sensor, motion-sensor, lean-sensor(whatever it's called), and extra speakers/horns for it. Once again, I'm gonna need to know which ones I need, and where to purchase them. Only tool I need that I don't have, is a soldering iron. I'm tryin to get my build up and going, but I can't do it until I get this alarm in. Thanks for the help, fellas
  13. Not hating or being a dick...But post pics of current system. Please! Sell everything on Craigslist, and buy something nice. Level 4 DC and an AQ 1200d and a well designed box would suffice. Guarantee it would be cleaner and louder than your current stuff
  14. There is a thread here somewhere with lots of spl tips. 45s in all corners isn't a good idea according the the thread iirc
