  1. 4 15's fin nicely . as long as they dont need too much space. im sure there are some that wouldn't fit but there are quite a few that will. Ported is ALWAYS louder, Some people say sloppier but if done right IMO it can be just as tight as a sealed setup. If you need any help building a box for you blazer let me know. I Also own a 97 blazer and love it.
  2. i made one too. im lvl 3 i used my forum name.
  3. 22" Samsung 2253 LCD, and a LG flatron 19" powered by a nVidia 8800
  4. just curious are they 12's or 15's?
  5. "I'd like to phone a friend"
  6. seems like a lot of power out put (watts) for only drawing 120 amps ( 4 30 amp fuses) of current.. i cant remember if this is right but If an amp is 100% efficient (NEVER HAPPENS) 120 amps of current X 14.4 Volts ( also never happens with stock electrical ) = 1728 watts In a perfect world, which we are not. So 1728 X .8 ( assuming 80% efficient) = 1382 a ROUGH estimate? If any of this formula is even correct. i Cant remember lol
  7. hahahaha i love seeing vids like this. some douche thinks he hot sh*t, than get owned.
  8. i personally would get a Rockford 1500, even a t1000 would do nicely. I have 2 15's and plan to feed them 800 - 1000 RMS Each.
  9. its a great alarm! has 4 auxiliary outputs. mine rolls up/down my windows and also turns my system off and on as long as my alarm is with in reach. and the last pops my rear glass window. yea i like relays
  10. what car is it being installed in? i have the same alarm and there is a fuse under the cover on the top to select polarity. did you insert the fuse?
  11. Yea im on my 3rd this yr... The shop called the 1st one "bullet prof" ... FAIL. than he de-tuned it, FAIL! Than he fixed it agin with no shif kit and i destroyed the output shaft.... WTF? homemade valve body / homemade shift kits FTL.
  12. Not warranting a 2000.00 performance Transmission after giving me a written 3 yr warranty, AND EXPECTING MR TO PAY 500.00 To fix it..... FUCK THAT! Now i have no truck or any money after buying a new setup for a show last weekend which i missed because of this BS, DOUBLE FUCK THAT!

  14. Always make sure the GROUND is the Last thing disconnected from you amp is what i have always been told. AS well as the FIRST thing hooked up. The Ground on any Electronic item is VERY important. I have seen a lot of "problems" caused by a bad ground. In my blazer i had to actually Run a new ground for my H/U so i wouldn't pick up hum from my Headlights and Blower motor. Not all Vehicles Need this just saying.
  15. negative. i only paid 350 a PAIR for them and that's at COST from the shop 700 for 4 so i got them at a steal. now i just want to hear them if im not impressed there going on CL
  16. Dont know yet, after building the box and getting the subs my Transmission went out 12 hrs before the show. i was on my way to Lowe's to pick up spray glue when it blew up all over the ground. Its ok though the trans is under a full 3 yr warranty and this is my 3rd with the same company in the last year. They make in house "performance" tranny's that sometimes end up on the ground LOL. Ill post as soon as i hear them, im supposed to get back my blazer on friday PS i missed my show too
  17. i just did a 97 Sunfire and it was totally different so i guess they used different interiors in some of them. But yes taking off the entire dash pad over a trim piece is stupid, lol
  18. http://s414.photobucket.com/albums/pp224/b...mview=slideshow The new subs and enclosure
  19. well IF it happened that's pretty funny
  20. I also own a 97 blazer and the dash does come off easily, I have the same stock radio but found it quite easy to remove, but have been doing this stuff for 5+ years. Now my First install was my GF's 97 cavalier 4 yrs ago and that was a bi*ch. the whole dash literally comes out lol.
  21. i build custom boxes, its not that hard. there are lots of site that do all the math for you. I am building a box for 2 type R 15's in my living room as we speak lol.
